This year there is less money because market is red and a lot of icos, so to collect good summ - need a  lot of time and because of that there is 6-12 months time , last year it was x10 less.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Many companies are not ready to enter the brutal market, when for example it is in the red zone and is going to decline. They will simply have losses for losses and try to sell better or postpone the like.

This is a good reason. For the same reason, some projects postpone the distribution of bounty hunters' awards for a period of 6-12 months. Apparently these projects just want to wait for the market to recover.

I suppose that it is because of several stages: pre-sale, sale and additional collection of financing. Sometimes it happens that insufficient funds were collected and the sale period is extended. hence the length of the ICO period

This true because every project aims at raising enough money to start and complete the project. So they need to allow enough time for the message to be well spread to attract interested investors to make the project very successful.

Waiting half a year and sometimes longer in anticipation of a price recovery in the market somehow does not sound logical, at least in today's realities. This should be thought in advance, to consider the possible risks and ways to solve them. It is better to conduct the preparatory phase in order to make people as interested as possible and to sell the tokens as quickly as possible in a month or two,

At first, particularly last year, project developers were able to accumulate money even from any little time frame, but the situation has changed now. It is very difficult to get investors now adays and hence they resort to extending ICO period to give more time for people to join in.

ICOs is now a difficult process. If you cant make your softcap during the ICOs, the team might struggle to make headway or probably return fund which has reduced lately. So most teams try to stagger the ICOs process;Providing the sale in different stages while also campaigning using different methods.

The major reasons why ico period gets long is to enable the project team gather enough funds sufficient enough for them to meet their target and not disappoint the investors that have already contributed their own quota both in finance and in resources that are insubstantial

The longest ico i've ever seen is the eos one and for the others usually the ico only take about 1 month, maybe you count it from the pre ico? I think it is not necessary to have a long ico because if you advertise your project well you can collect enough money in 1 month rather than dragging it out for a long time, investor also don't want their money to be locked up for a long period so they prefer one with normal duration.

Most ICOs are running long now bc it's harder to raise funds. So they keep pushing back end date.

Well, its a certainty that its takes quite a long time for the ICOs to complete. This maybe as a result of the project plans laid down, the time it takes to raise the funds desired. The pans maybe complected and long therefore it takes quite a long time to out them together, The target funds too if not raised in record time will need to be extended at least until the money needed is raised

ico with long time because they want to reach hardcap or and if reach hardcap the project will be very easy to develop (if team use fund well) but it has no effect on bounty hunter because allocation for bounty has been set when bounty running

When you get to see stakes on the spreadsheet, then the reward for bounty hunters will be the same no matter how long the ICO will take. however, if the ICO is too long with the stake system, more participants tend to join later on. This will make rewards tend to be less because the fewer the number of participants, great is the reward. if tokens are being shared directly, that means those who started the ICO to the end are more likely to win more tokens.

Dear friend,
Each manager of the campaign have some rules for his purposes. The ICO have often period long due to solving that issue. In this period, he want this purpose, in other periods he want other purposes. But all of them reach to a high profits for the campaign.

I think that ico who have a long period of aiming to get better results because the promotion can be maximally later, because they want to sell and achieve maximum nantnya, because, give them certainty that they handle the next process to bring development to the project in the long term, when the market does not have the best support conditions for their sales process. stretching is understandable.

ICOs have their own duration and you can see and read it to their whitepaper but sometimes it will depend on the money they are being collected during the crowd sale it may take months, years or even early after they are sold-out their token and the bounty token to be distributed to bounty hunters is will be announce and we have patiently waiting for it.

As more and more ICO's are coming into the crypto space, most of them they do not even reach the soft cap so they have to extend the time of their ICO's to make sure they can achieve the soft cap and then aiming for the hard cap but this is very hard to achieve right now as only good and legit ICO's are having a succes and rest of the ICO's will just run with your money in a way or another so make sure you know in what are you investing.
