Ico period long or short it depends on target fillup like soft cap or hard cap when reached then bounty time minimize it .

What I think about  long time ico is there  a particular duration for any project to hit there target but once they hit it they won't stop because they are willing to make more money on it, I think it's good but some do take long time

The answer to this question is more than obvious. Not always all projects collect planned amounts of funds for the specified time. Therefore, by extending the deadlines, they hope to increase this amount.

The longer the ICO goes, the more you can get contributions to the project. Therefore, they are long and stretch, I think so. This is very tiring for the participants, and I try not to participate in such projects.

but not all ICOs like that. sometimes, we found project altought reached softcap but still extend its ICO.
for an example, zuflo. zuflo reached softcap but extend from 15 june to 20 june then 30 june. OMG Embarrassed

Each project sets its own conditions. Sometimes it passes quickly, sometimes longer. The project collects funds, wants to expand, and also seeks investors.

in my opinion, it is done because it is based on the calculation of profit and loss, in addition with the aim to attract more investors, to increase sales of their token that can support the success of the projects.

ICOs last a long time because they aim to reach the hard cap or at least get close to this goal and this is a difficult task, even more so with the bearish market

Yes I agree, its obvious that they just wanted a long period of exposure in order to gain more exposure in order to reach the expected maximum capitalization. The problem of this one is people tend to get-out of the project mid-way because it takes a lot of time and even bounty participants could not hold on it that much.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

Most of the ICOs and token sales out there only have an idea and did not start working on their products.

But even when you invest into a project that already has an MVP it could take 2-3 years to build a stable and adopted product.

Because the old sales process, the goal wants to get results in accordance target so that rewards can be commensurate with the work done.

Depends on how long it takes for them to get the money they want to start the project

Due to the global supervision of ico, ico needs to face a variety of legal issues!
The current market is very sluggish, ico needs to carry out widespread publicity, ICO takes a long time to complete sales targets!

With some reason they need to promote more on social network site- offer real use cases project. You need to know that ICO is like IPO in the early 90's-2000 and ICO are gaining popularity on the internet that will get billion's of dollars in price.

That long period of time doesn't mean that you will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor. There are a lot of aspects. Bounty rewards are varied and depend on funds allocation and your rank/followers.

The period of an ICO will depend on their roadmap. It is influenced by the token supply to sell, the readiness of the smart contract and others. The stage of pre-sale, private sale, and also ICO also influence.

The fact is that the crypto market has been very very bad recently and as such many ICOs suffer to make it even to their soft cap. In the end, what happens is that they'd have to increase the time period for the ICO to cover up for more investors to get interested. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Different parameters govern the length of a token sale campaign. These include:
A division of the token sale activity (e.g. presale and main crowd sale)
Capitalization (soft cap and hard cap)
Media publicity
Ratings and ranking from ICO review websites
Community support of the project
Smooth running of the campaign (i.e. without technical glitches during transactional activities like hike in transaction fees, or unstable web wallet, or hack in the web service of host ICO)

Initial Coin is simply referred to as ICO,Because ICO's time is unpredictable, it may be completed within a short period of time or it may take several months to complete,Therefore, generally only the amount of financing can be used to control, that is, soft cap and hard cap

In most cases, the longer time for the ICO project is not such a good sign. This may mean that the project collects very little money, which means there is no interest from investors to it. As far as the bounty campaign fees are concerned, it depends on how much a percentage is allocated and how much money is collected. This is my point of view.
