Each ICO project has its own strategy.
Indeed In promoting a new product it will take time.
How long the promotion takes place? , it depends on the marketing strategy.
The length of time the ICO project cannot guarantee that we get better rewards, because it all depends on the percentage of target achievement of the ICO project.

There are products from ICO projects that are easy to recognize and able to quickly penetrate the market, but there are also products from ICO projects that take a long time to be recognized and penetrate the market.
If an ICO project is designed with a long implementation time and the ICO project successfully reaches the target, then the calculation of our income from tokens will surely be more.

The period of an ICO will depend on their roadmap. It is influenced by the token supply to sell, the readiness of the smart contract and others. The stage of pre-sale, private sale, and also ICO also influence.
Actually, the percentage of the rewards will depend on each ICO. Some ICO will have bigger rewards for the longer time ICO. But some are normal. The period of the ICO also influences how they can attract the investors and reach the softcap of their sale.

The sole purpose of the ICO is to raise the necessary funds, so the company can achieve and complete their plans. With a lot of new ICO's entering the crypto-community, the funds needed for an ICO are harder to accumulate. Most companies will have a private pre-sale, a pre-ico for early adopters and then a crowdsale. During these stages, the marketing machine needs to do its work and the community around the project needs to be built. This takes time.

In my opinion it's simple. The longer the project, the more likely it is to raise the necessary money. Now sushestvuet the trend of increasing of duration companies. The reason for this is the fall of the market. ICO just do not have time to collect the cap.
I think the ICO project time is long in my opinion for two reasons. Firstly, the ICO project needs time to be known to many, ie the project is universal. Second, the project duration lasts so that the investor has enough time to study and decide down investment money and also they have to obtain authorization from numerous licenses in the nation so I think that is why most ICO takes some time

Some ICO depends on what the market condition if it is down they need to enter in the right time for the sake of their investors. For the long period of time the team behind the ico wants their project to promote first to bring more hype. About the bounty they need to prolong the distribution for the calculation of the stakes per participants and too minimize dumpings.

It is purely depends on project, team, required fund, Partners and bounty manger etc.. etc... If all these combinations are good and trustable then the ICO will close with in less span. Other wise it will take huge time to complete the ICO.

To make a project success, having a good idea is a key element but its not the most important. The most important thing is marketing strategy. If the idea is good, but few people know about it so the project will also fail. There longer time of ICO, the more people know about that project. Beside, if the team leader has more time, they will have more chance to make people believe in what they can do.

There is no way, because the bounty thread is just a channel for promotion.
Then, when they end the ICO crowd funding, they will consider distributing the bounty.

I think that the long term ICO is good, the developers understand and give their idea of doing slowly, and understand that good investment in your project takes time. The same as for people who participate in subscription companies.

Absolutely right, now the market is growing and the projects are collecting the hardcap very quickly (for example, today the Merculet was collected in 2 minutes ...). But a month ago, projects could collect several weeks, or even a month. Therefore, a long period of ICO is often indicated.

It is natural that, in accordance with proper planning, each ICO establishes a sufficient period of time so that, according to its studies and considerations, it can satisfactorily fulfill its capitalization expectations necessary to carry out its projects.

The worrying thing is that, more and more frequently, many ICOs tend to extend their sales periods for very long and even indefinite periods, which is no more than a clear sign of critical times and low credibility that the market is going through, so we should think twice before deciding to invest in an ICO or participate in a bounty campaign.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

I actually depends on how long they can reach their goal, I've joined an ICO bounty campaign and it actually ended a month before its actually campaign period because they were able to reach hard cap ahead of time thus declaring the project and the bounty campaign successful.

Not all ICO is very long ,but there are also ICO that did not meet the required target of softcap and did not hit the hardcap will last also for a long time ,becausr tokens are not been sold out, there are also ICO that last only for a short time and ended right away , these are the very lucky ICO projects, success for a short period of time.

Absolutely right, now the market is growing and the projects are collecting the hardcap very quickly (for example, today the Merculet was collected in 2 minutes ...). But a month ago, projects could collect several weeks, or even a month. Therefore, a long period of ICO is often indicated.

It would still depend on the project. There are ICOs that last only for minutes while some last for months and not even reach the soft cap. The reason why some ICOs took a long time to finish is that they prepare the project so that when the ICO is finish, they can go forward and maybe list the coin to exchanges immediately after the ICO. Some may even consider how in demand the coin is in Pre-ICO so they will base it on how long will be their ICO. Some would try to reach their softcap or hard cap. I have observed that those ICOs that has already a company long before or have partnerships to big companies often reach their softcap or hardcap while those that are still ideas is less likely to reach it.

One of the factors too is market condition. During this time when we are in a bear market, it is hard to entice investors to invest in ICOs because the market is not looking good that's why it is preferable to launch it during a sideways or bull market. As for the bounty, the distribution may take some time because they avoid the price being dumped if in case the coin is listed in an exchange.

I think they take a long time because collecting investors is not easy, the less investors will usually get longer, but if more and more investors will be faster

Yes, ICO recently tended to extend campaign time. Some delay issues from devs or the most important reason are the bad market conditions for selling the tokens. That affects the process of raising funds for their projects. Therefore, to ensure the process of ico and investors peace of mind. They often have the idea of extending the time to sell the token and the bounty campaign.

It depends on the sales of ICO. So many projects already exist absurd or similar projects. Because of their lack of uniqueness, these investors will take a long time to buy.

ICO period is long because they want to collect more money. If they won't reach their softcap, ICO's can take long times  about 6-7 months or maybe more.

I personally think that ICO's long time is a relatively normal phenomenon. First of all, ICO is equal to the spirit of enterprise. Therefore, early work is very important and needs to be gradually accumulated. Moreover, in addition to the technology of the project itself, there are many complicated processes. Time and return are not necessarily proportional.
