Some poor quality projects often prolong the ICO's time to raise enough capital. But not all ICOs are of poor quality, depending on the purpose and timing of the project management team. I like to invest in ICO projects for about 2 months.

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

The ICO period is long because their goal is to reach the hard cap, if they do not reach the hard cap right away they extend their ICO if they did not reach the hardcap and ended the ICO right away then it is a scam they just want to get a money from investors and they are not paying back the investors. For a good ICO the hardcap should be reached.

usually, the ico that has a long period aims to get great results because the promotion can maximally. besides, the bounty hunter also will definitely get more stake. certainly, the team hopes with the longer period of ico can make many investors are joined in the project.

the team also usually takes time to be able to prepare for the iconya can run smoothly. see the situation. make a delay if the market is not good

A longer period of ICO means more collected money. Often campaigns abuse this way of fundraising. Possible with time to develop a new concept of fundraising that will give scammers less opportunities.

ICO period is long because they want to collect more money. If they won't reach their softcap, ICO's can take long times  about 6-7 months or maybe more.

Perhaps you are right about the possibilities of scammers, but you need to take into account the fact that companies are extending the fundraising because they want a better development of the project.

this depends on hype index of project, on the interestingness (If I could say that way) of a project. I know some gathered their cap in 3 minutes.

The main purpose is to increase the amount raise, they are in the ICO and the amount raise is very important.
A project would have a better chance of success if they can raise a good amount so they can hire people and do their development based on the roadmap.
It's alright to extend the ICO period as long as it will end up successful.

They wanted to get more money to be invested in their crappy ICO project. For me, ICOs who do that are stupid to realize to theirselves that their project has nothing special and just like a "me too" project.

they hope if the longer it will be more and more are buying what the ICO have and of course, ICO can succeed. they have a target that must be reached, and if it is not fulfilled then the ICO will be extended. for those who follow a bounty with extended the ICO, they hope the results obtained with the allocation on the bounty was also added.

A long period of ICO is sometimes simply necessary to achieve the full amount of investment required to achieve the objectives of the project, a long period allows the project to receive more investment, a large audience, to conduct more productive advertising and gives time for project development, testing, market entry, analysis of the project.

Personally, I feel some ICO's are very long because the project's team members are scared they might not reach their targets (softcap or hardcap) in the a very short period. They just feel they need more time to be able to reach out.. As for the rewards, more investors means more reward (bounty is a percentage of total sales), well at the same time more bouty participants means less reward. So long period of ICO has both positive and negative effect on your reward.

i think ICO will take long because enough time has to be given so that investors attention will be drawn to the particular ICO so that they can invest in it .If the period is very short, then most investors will not even hear about the ICO altogether so in the end the project success may not be granteed. The thing I do not like is the very long time it takes to pay bounty rewards after the ICO.Bounty rewards should be paid immediately after the ICO.

Some projects have a long ICO selling period because they want the raise the most amount of funds for their project.  Usually if it hit's the hardcap, the ICO is over but they do have the full amount of time they have listed to raise the funds.
I agree! More and more ICOs are on the market. ICO compete healthy with each other, constantly innovating technology, creating strong community ... That is successful, it takes time. In addition, the ICO needs time to increase sales of the project ... Contribution to the project is more valuable.

It's because the ICO is needed to reach the softcap, or the ICO will be continued by a month because many investors are investing in the project and also they will allot a better rewards if they continued the project a month or many more months.

I think ICO duration depends on ICO providers are based on various considerations, for ICO prizes can be measured based on the allocation they provide to bounty hunter and investors and also based on the total path of the ICO. Hope you can help

ICO that takes a long time usually they see competition between ICO. if the ICO does so for a short time, it is feared, investors do not buy the ICO coins. Therefore, many ICOs take 6 to 8 months.

Authors of the project try to collect so much money as it possible to do. So this is the main reason why ICO stage would be so long sometimes. Moreover in some projects pre-ICO stage is organized.

When the ICO term is extended, it usually does not affect the change in the payment terms for the participants in the ICO generosity campaign. That is, the amount of payment is not increased. In some cases, the ICO team increases the number of tokens allocated or indicates that for the period of time for which the period is extended, payment will be made in a multiple of the shares. However, an increase in the amount of payment for the extension of the ICO period is infrequent.
