Seeings how I'm mining GRA right now, I thought to myself:
Wouldn't it be cool, if a developer wanted to accept Cryptocurrencies as part of his payment options in say, like Google Play Store.
You have a wallet right on your phone, you go to the play store, find some music or an app you like, the options to pay are your google account or whatever cryptocurrencies that developer accepts.
He accepts GRA, bam click on that button and it opens your grain wallet with his wallet address in there and sends the payment.

Just a thought

The network hasrate has been doubled from 60-80 to 100-140
The diff has doubled from 0.2~0.5 to 0.5~0.8 (even 1.2)
and, QT server has increaed dramatically, from 10~16 to 32~68
Still many of solo miner are downloading the past blocks,
hashrate will be growing more and more,
maybe tomorrow,
we may see around Diff 1~2, and 150~250M hashrate,
no need to worry about hashrate,
more miner, higher hashrate,
it will reduce the amount of coin which can be mined a day
coin value will be increased and similar gain will get,

Some reference
      Litecoin                  117.2G
      Anoncoin                  1.5G
      Ditialcoin                  1.9G
      Dogecoin                 26.0G
      Fastcoin                    5.5G
      Feathercoin               6.6G
      Novacoin                   6.1G
      Quarkcoin                507.6G
      Worldcoin                  8.6G

I just with it become higher than 1.0G, to become stable,
and higher than 2.0G to grow more an more ~

Have a nice day

price should be 100 satoshi at very least...is very underpriced right now, when the hash will rise this coin will be very difficult to mine

everything ok?

More than 50 new miners are downloading the past block for the solo mining.
It can makes some kind of delay,
I believe everything will become normal soon,
it is a natural status when many miners are joining,
and every miners will share the load,
and than, become stabled more.

Before coinedup, I just utilizing around 50kB/s, now, 500kB/s ~ ^^

Plzz step away from the keyboard... .slowly.. easy now.. thats it.. Tongue

People downloading the blockchaing/solo mining has NOTHING to do with the pool's luck.

The pool is having issues and/or the blockchain has been forked. There is also a chance that someone is stealing shares.

I see this same thing said in every single coin thread it's always wrong.

Price is based on demand, and there is no demand for grain.

The only thing you can comfortably predict is that the price will not go high enough to make mining Grain more profitable than other coins.

At the time of this post:

Using Mt. Gox: $927

At 1 mh/s, the top 3 coins average out to net $10 USD or ~0.0108 BTC per day.

Grain varies quite a bit but let's say that 1 mh/s gets you 50,000 GRA a day.

To be as profitable as the top 3 coins, GRA would have to sell at 0.000000216 BTC or 21 satoshi.

GRA doesn't even have the demand to meet WDC, DOGE and NET, so I think the current price of 15 satoshi is about where it belongs when compared to other coins.

I'll let someone else calculate the difficulty and hashrate required to raise the price to 100 satoshi.

But keep in mind, if the price rises faster than the hash, then the multipools come in and destroy the coin.

As far as pure speculation, I think this coin has a lot of room to grow and it actually has a developer who seems to know how to fix things.

If the dev can spread some of that premine around and generate interest, then 15 satoshi could be a very good price to buy at now.

Use the old client to send GRA to new address. Or you can try a different build of the new client. I compiled my own if you need it.

Don't forget to backup wallets.
