What makes dogcoin better compared to all the other pumps and dumps?  Oh wait, nothing.  It will head towards where all the other coins that don't matter head.  Having 100,000,000,000 coins does not make it better.

"What makes bitcoin better than dogecoin? Oh wait, that too nothing. Having only 21 million coins does not help it in the long run, when the DOGE and Litecoin becomes more popular...."

A real community. The Dogecoin subreddit has been the most subscribed non-default subreddit of the day two out of the last two days. Good luck finding any other coins with that sort of popularity.

We have yet to see profitable and plausible scrypt ASICs coming Grin

Gridseed looks promising but not quite profitable at this stage

I saw those from Fibonacci, they claim to do 1-1.2Mh/s at higher the price of similar hashes generating GPU, in return for less power consumption.
Not much big deal

Think again.  Specs and price coming out within 2-4 weeks.  As soon as they have something, I'm stopping by to visit.  I live about 1.5 hrs. away. https://alpha-t.net/shop/
"Taking advantage of our partners workforce and facilities we expect to start shipping 4-5 months after pre-orders are taken"

lmao same shit as bitcoin asic

Product did get delivered though right?

Wow, not only here in England, but only 20 minutes away. I may be interested in pre-ordering a couple of these babies.
It's the power consumption that's the killer for Scrypt mining - and a Scrypt ASIC that I won't be paying customs on, can collect in person, and can actually go banging on the door of the place if they fail to appear?
Sounds good.

Depends on the price , 5MH/s for 150 watts is good.

specs as per
https://alpha-t.net/news/development-update-17122013/
Summary

ASIC Chip: 28/45nm @ 300-500Kh/s

Viper Board: Multiple ASIC Chips = 5,000Kh/s

Viper Miner (5 Mh/s): 1 x Viper Board, ~150 watts, 1u size rack mountable. Fully standalone.

Viper Miner (25 Mh/s): 5 x Viper Board, ~750 watts, 6u size rack mountable, fully standalone.

Note. The finalising of our ASIC design will not affect the end product hash-rate. 5Mh/s and 25Mh/s devices are final.

Doge price is low because of this stupid website:
multipool.us

Whever Doge price is more than 65sat they are switching to doge mining and dumping autosell, when it is below 64 they are switching to different coin mining.

So are we all supposed to have botnets or something? How are we supposed to DDoS them? Hell, if I had a botnet I'd be using it to mine XD

I could flood them with packets, but the load from my laptop wouldn't do anything.

dogepool.pw may have its problems in the past, but the owner made good and returned my 15k dogecoins from the ddos the other day. Thank you for doing the right thing, and I'll direct my 1mh/s to your pool in a couple of hours. Smiley

All that does is flood them with packets. You could use anything for that, even net tools.

Sure you could have a bunch of people do it at once, but I'm sure it'd need a lot of people.

Not only that but they would have to do it continuously.

You have to stop sometime.

There is no point.

You might as well allow things to run their course.

In the past DDOS atack was some sort of temporary solution.

2,397,000,000+ coins mined.

0.5% pool fee.

Withdrawals every 30 minutes

2.8 GH/S total doge mining power.

158 blocks found over last 24 hours.

http://doge.scryptpools.com

Scrypt Pools had many problems and many coins were lost due to multiple payout problems. I was in over my head the moment the pool went past 500 mh/s. I did my best to keep it running but I failed. I'm embarassed and truly sorry. I will find a way to get enough doges to process the rest of the payouts and reinstate my credibility.

Mining is legit.
DDOS is not. Get ovet it. Dumping Crap is absolutly natural.
Why so much hate? Bought Doge above 100 Satoshi?

< 100 BTC is not worth mentioning. Poor souls will always remain poor. Don't miss the failtrain.

Ditto.
Much trouble.
This is normal for all coins. They get hit hard when they are profitable and less so when they are not. Don't advocate illegal activities lol.

If doge will hit high it will be because of market/consumer acceptance not a few miners quickly cashing in coins for btc. Ask yourself who owns a business that you can get to accept them rather than who you can ddos.

That simple ponder will save you being arrested. ;o)
