A couple of questions/ thoughts to discuss with shibe friends.

Is doge being donated to any pet charity? Yesterday, I was reading all the pet charities that kitteh coin is donating to. I totally fell for it (yes, I am a woman, but I don't think it matters , and I feel that bunch of other regular folk will. Also, associating a coin wtih cute pet stories is a great way to promote a coin to general public, I believe. Youtube, reddit etc. can't get bored of cat/dogs stories, it seems. We should take advantage of that - I am thinking of charity and heartwarming or funny pet stories, not just of cute shibe.

Then, is there an easy way to give doges to children, in the way that they can understand that they hold some number of doges and see value in it? E.g. they can shop with help of parents online or donate, or just feel wealthy. The way wallet looks wouldn't be attractive to me if I were a kid. Is there a cute shibe app for it? I am thinking that marketing doges to kids is a great idea.

Oh, it was great to read that doge is looking for a developer to build a facebook doge tip app. Hope they found an excellent one!

I brought this up on reddit just the other day, doge is the perfect pet charity coin with the generosity of the community and the mascot. nobody seemed interested but i'm sure if we just do it and get it organised it would catch on. more publicity more people getting interested there are so many upsides it's insane. I vote for donating a big chunk to Sea Shepherd myself because nobody commits like those guys. Truly not in it for any reason other than because it's the right thing to do. You can't beat that in any charity.

so doge is almost in the 82,000 block what is everyone's predictions? when doge hits the Block 100,001 where rewards are cut to half! we should be there in 3 days or so.

Are you sure about that?
((Approx 1 minute per block, x 60) x 24 hours) x 3 days = 4320 blocks.

It will be approximately 12 days until we reach that point.

I expect it will go up in price as the reward drops, but some miners will drop out - although if it goes up enough, then there is reason to carry on mining.

I am trying to update my dogecoin wallet to 1.5 version but every time my CPU starts heating too much and my PC shuts down.Whas up with that?? On previous version that was not the case.

Nothing can overheat a properly (heatsinked) CPU.
So since this is DOGE wallet related for You...
If it is a Laptop, run it on it powerbrick, turn off all "Green or Batterysaver" features.
Blow out the fan and heatsink (carefully - do not overspin it).
Buy a Good coolpad you will need it.

If a PC reseat the HSink with good thermal paste, if still gets hot get a better sink fan combo.

Get it done by Monday You will need it.
