I think the community should find a way to boost the coin's value by trying to get their favorite companies to start accepting EAC as a payment option. The more publicity the better the value. SO go out and start writing blog posts and articles and boost the heck out of this coin

not that i'm a huge supporter of earth or any of the new wave of clones...
however that being said, EAC has a large community it would seem. This always happens when coins hit exchange, first they are high, then sink as everyone dumps. Then as the coins dry up and more distributed they will rise again to way higher that previous highs.
Eventually all these new clones will die off like the last wave, as new miners realise it's best to pick a decent coin and mine that.
EAC seems okay - the dev needs to document fully the premine else will forever be labelled a scam coin. If he does document it and creates a full ledger then it has a chance since it already has a big community.
From this new wave a handfull will go on to survive longterm perhaps eac will be one of them.

A very sensible post - are you sure you should be in the world of alt-coins?

the drop in price has a simple reason... there is not much volume as people prepare to move to cryptsy, so a few traders can just bear-trap the market
if you've got enough eac to spend, it's easy to start a selling spree
once they have then bought up enough at these low levels, price will move up.... especially when this hits cryptsy
edit: 33 BTC volume on coinex for EAC in the last 24h
that is nothing. that's the volume of one trade position on cryptsy
