pls vote here for EAC if you have not yet done so....

lottocoin is paying people to vote there and we need to show some grass roots presence

That voting isn't serious anymore. People get payed for their vote (see lotto). Now i saw that the dev from dimecoin started a thread that pays anyone 10.000 coins if they vote for dime.  Roll Eyes

I don't think EAC should be fighting against those rubbish coins and trolls supporting it. Let's keep our eyes on more important things.

yes let's not stoop to their level.

stooping to their level would imply that someone here paid people to vote.

not to vote because you think EAC is better without getting paid for it.

and yes, that vote is a complete joke, but it never hurts to show presence

I don't understand what you are saying. Paying for votes is stooping to their level. I've never said anything about buying votes, quite the contrary. Neither did I say anything about not voting. Nor did I imply anything. Tongue Maybe you misunderstood me

then I apologize...

well, whatever you meant, I'm done with that thread as well... it's just 100% trolls, and secondary and third accounts of people who get bribes from lottocoin devs....

it's an embarrassment...

I made my last post there and I can only hope that the guy who started the thread can see that lotto is cheating, bribing and perverting the point of the whole vote....

Oh no worries:P I re-read my own post and I came of as rude/blunt, so I am the one who's gonna apologize!

No just the constant complaining about it the past few pages, trash talking lottocoin talking about how shitty it is and making a big huppla because the devs offered an incentive for people to vote. Also im not attacking the EAC community, give me a break. There you go exageratting again. Just for the record Im just as invested in EAC as I am Lottocoin.

Listen holzer. Paying someone to vote is not what an incentive is. It is manipulating votes. It not a big deal, it's coin on a forum - people aren't dying. It's the principle of not paying for someones support in an vote where there are more than two alternatives that is a big deal.

I can see from your post history that you received 5000LOT for your vote so of course you are going to defend it which is fine, we all defend our actions. It does not however validate your opinion in any way. I agree you are not attacking anyone here, but I really can't stand it when people are accepting something of (potential)financial value for their support. And what I dislike even more is when people defend actions like this and labels people who call you out on it "crybabies". Giveaways where you comment on the Cryptsy board is another thing.

This will be my last and final statement on this matter whatsoever. I will not contribute to anything but promoting this great coin. Peace

a vote should not be skewed with bribes. that is bad style.

calling lotto out and truthfully stating that the thread has too many trolls is simply how it is.

lotto has HIRED one guy there who trolls on a payroll (I proved that with a quote in the thread) who spent 4 mil LOT to bribe people to vote.

if you think it is over the line to mention that and find it contemptible, then something is wrong with you

SECONDED

Please stop.

Here, look, while you were arguing, I made this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XBXLmplONI

Please be productive, nothing good is coming from the static above.

EDIT: That's three pages in a row where my post ends up first on the page (not by design). Order might have changed or posts might have been removed, but still, random.

I'm starting to believe all of these coins are a social experiment to show how easily people are misled and duped.

It's a lovely video. Though I think it would be best if you removed the "problem?" meme at 0:46(IDK the name of it)

Re: The video, what's with the "Rich are wrecking the planet?"

Yes, because most of us miners aren't looking to make money, and being extremely non-green while we mine. The silliness of this all goes beyond words. Additionally, Rich is a relative statement, usually defined by those with more money than ourselves. But, it also is a pretty general term, as being Rich is not truly defined by money alone.

Rich is not a bad thing, but of course jealousy ingrained in us makes us hate those who have what we want. The successful, "rich" ones, are the people that don't sit back and complain about rich people, but take action to get what they want through hard work, luck and motivation. Vilifying rich people is really getting old, let's vilify actions, not classes.

Keep it coming, we need the critiques, going to be hard to get all this across perfectly and might do a few revisions still.

The 'rich' graphic, is not referring to a couple hundred K/year rich, it's the .0001% control rich.

Mining has little to do with the video - for all you know, all these rigs and mining equipment will be used for something much greater downstream. Technology + the earth are merging faster and faster. While we can't please all viewers the main overall important points seem hidden conveniently, and all some of you look at is where and how you can poke at this. "mining is bad therefore green energy fail", that's rather shortsighted. Here - http://www.2045.com - why does tech have to ruin energy projects or taking the earth more seriously be so anti-crypto?

If anyone wants to animate to the audio/voiceover let me know you're free to 'tell the story' in your own concepts.

0:50 and forward - remove the little background logo top left - it clutters the foreground text (other places in the video as well)
1:30 text with Ron fades away too quick - as does 2:20 text (some viewers might have hearing problems)

..also would it be possible to make the frame around Ron and the scale not square - like blurred or even transparent - looks a bit too 'clunky' to me..?

that's very funny, just remember that with 270M premined you can HOLD all you want.
it doesn't change the fact that OP STILL holds the majority of this coin.

there ought to be some standards in this community, 2% is outright greedy IMHO.

Look at DOGE, the only thing that crapcoin had is meme, but thats all lost now.
But the little bugger is still around because of NO PREMINE.

It makes a difference if it is an announced premine or just inofficial. I saw creators that premined it through hiding a windows client, hiding nodes, hiding the kick-off. Earthcoin made it different. In the genisis block there was a reward of 270mio. And this is one reason why the coin is so popular today. Many give away, many bounties to pay people to build up something. Maybe the website, maybe an exchange and so on.

I would to it the same way. Ok, there is no public ledger. But one can argue that they don't want to give away their tactics? Hm. I would prefer to make it open, but they have their reasons.

And sure, a few coins might go the the devs. So? Did you build your own coin for free? Why not? It seems to be legitim for me to get reward as creator. Did Gates, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Page etc. created something without any shares?
