Whats the difference if the coin is premined 2% or hashraped to the same amount by a huge hashfarm on launch....makes no difference whatsoever....the little guys are still the ones left to prop the coin up.

the premine talks makes me lol every time.....don't premine!!....but give away 1 mill coins for free...etc...comical.

Not much if the hashraper (that made me laugh) can mine the same amount as the preminer. Did any hashraper mine 270,000,000 eac's at launch? If I launched a coin, I sure as heck would premine it, first for give-aways and promotions, and second so I had a chance at a large profit down the road. Any dev that doesn't premine has no longterm interest in the coin and I would not be interested in investing my time in the coin mining it, if he has no incentive to stay with it and promote it. I am all for reasonable premine. I don't know what  a reasonable number it though. Is 270,000,000 reasonable? Idk.

I just wonder who that kid is that had 5000 bitcoins and sold his computer or formatted it years ago haha, like the guys digging in the dump in England looking for his $7 million dollars.  So pump, dump, trade do whatever you want.  The only true reward is to BUILD something and make a sacrifice of time and effort with out the direct forcus for profits.  That's what I did.  I am ok in life.  I chose a direction with only the possibility of great reward but I believed in what I was doing more than the focus on profits and low and behold, let's just say it worked out real well. Wink

Don't go thinking you are too smart haha.

I 've said it once , this coin has 20 days of life.
when you open a business, you begin to feel your questions about the continuation of the work already after 20 days ?
when you open a business, you think back on your investment in less than 20 days ?
I believe that many of you here, do not have the slightest idea of what is the world of work and enterprise and how it works.
certainly in this area is all about fast, extremely fast, but 20 days are nothing. unless you 're those in the forex world we call " scalpers " , which are small investors who enter and leave the market in a matter of minutes, hours, or at most a day.
people who normally loses all his capital in the first month of activity.
I repeat for the umpteenth time , do not be afraid of the price now . like all other currencies , this is " a gamble " in the future .
no one can know how this money will go , but we all know that the foundations are solid , the project is valid and many people are actively working to develop it.
the miners are not traders and rightly should fall at least the cost of energy , but energy costs are part of the investment that they, too, is done in time, so do not be impatient to cash in now , because you run the risk to collect a tenth of what you could collect maybe between 2 months or 6 months or 1 year .

welcome to the world of personal business
welcome to the world of personal risk

Smiley

I have just the proposition for you then. I wish I would have sold at 800, but according to you I did the right thing by not selling. SO, I will sell you my coins now for 800, you can hold them and keep them from being dumped. You can hold them for 6 mos to a year and then sell and collect the windfall. How about it, are you a believer? I am afraid of the price now and you are likely correct that it may well go up a lot in the future, I am more of a in the moment kind of guy. So how about it, will you be a believer and protector of the coins, just think for only 800 satoshi's you can hold them until they reach the sky. I am shortsighted. How about you?

Vote EAC if you haven't done so yet.

"Once the vote is done we will see how many posts are in the giveaway thread and subtract 75% of that number from Lottocoin. We don't want to punish it too much since as far as we know the actual coin devs had nothing to do with this, and no doubt some of those people would still have voted for LOT. We can't make a blanket "no bribing" policy because people could abuse it to disqualify other coins that they don't like or are ahead of a coin they do like."

Don't forget to post in the Lottcoin giveaway thread also, thanking them!  Grin

We at CryptoArticles have written a small article about Earthcoin here :

http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/2014/1/9/earthcoin-the-dark-horse-for-2014

We would like to do a proper review of the coin for our digital magazine this month, who can we best get in touch with for that?

don't know if it's just me? but I think all exchanges should always show all 8 decimals, even if the amount ends in 1 or more 0's..
that would give a much quicker overall view..
i know - it's a lot of decimals across - but really - it would help..
also you get daily shocks because you think your coin has either surged or dropped bigtime within a short time - until you realize the decimals..

Guys, in addiction to cry for low prices and moan about premined and cryptsy add on, what have you two done in this community to help the coin in its development?

I have nothing to teach anyone, don't worry....

Well I have mined the heck out of this coin since day one. Without the dev and us miners there would be no coin, so I delivered actual coin to the marketplace, that is how I helped in its development. I also voted for the coin on Cryptsy and the forum. I didn't sell at 800. You?
