Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

1. Do not panic Wink

2. It is too late to convert coins via exchange. But you can do it by yourself too without any time limit.

2.1. This is the recommended method: https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Importing-private-keys-from-old-wallet.dat-using---salvagewallet-option

2.2. This is manual method https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Manual-way-of-importing-private-keys

3. To be able to see proper balance in your new wallet two conditions must be met:
- you need to import private keys using any method
- coins need to be distributed first (This has not started yet. I will announce when this happens)

Plan of migration(on my side)

1. Just after block #534500 I take snapshot of PoW/old blockchain using fairglu's script
2. Distribute coins over test network (this takes about 45 minutes if no issues are spotted)
3. Distribute coins over real PoS blockchain (another 45 minutes)

This means whole process takes about 90 minutes. And if you imported priv keys from PoW wallet to PoS wallet you should see proper balance when whole process is finished.

Block #534500. Beginning work. ETA: 90 minutes

noblecoin-qt -salvagewallet doesnt work for me Undecided

What happens? Is your wallet encrypted?

no it is not...can You please explain procedure ones more - step by step (version for total dummies please)  Smiley

Right now I need to focus on making the switch happen. But please write what exactly you did so someone will be able to help you.
In particular please provide information: have you seen any errors? or is the problem that you see balance of 0?

In fact there is "step by step version" which describes how to do it manually. You can take a look:
https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Manual-way-of-importing-private-keys

 Yep...but Im having error
when I strike importprivatekey on new wallet (with private key of course and the space between command and private key  Wink )

Method not found (code -32601)

(win 8.1 64bit)

I just ran it and it worked. Obviously we do not have our coins yet because the official switch still has 45 minutes until it actually happens.

I did notice though that the 2.0 wallet is back to the old ugly style wallet and it cuts off our last character in our wallet address when you look at the "receive coins" section or do a "copy address"

Does this mean our wallet address actually changes and is now under a new format of 1 less character or is this just a problem with the wallet that needs to be fixed?

ALSO: Just got all my coins in my new POS wallet via -salvagewallet command. Worked perfectly.

Can everyone check if your balances are fine?

Distribution of coins is finished. However I have noticed errors like this:
"ERROR: FetchInputs() : c1c1446c2c mempool Tx prev not found 3c7e85184a"

Trying to find out if this is a big issue or not.

I do not know if they provide fresh information. Or if this is previous balance.

Swap went great, kudos to all people who put there time in it.
Been mining with 4 cores but had no luck yet.
I'll keep my wallet open as long as possible.
Very excited with all the new development for this coin.
Once again, a big thank you to the nobl team

Is it possible to mine with multi-cpu miner ?
