It was never a prioty 1 game. It was a faucet design to get visibility out there. Its not to drive gaming as a focus just awareness of dgb to the gaming community. The DGB currency team's aim is to raise awareness of it as a currency not a particular use. Everyone seems to think when 1 feature comes out thats what they are aiming to do. Think of dgbgaming as a free faucet aimed at raising awareness nothing more then you will understand.

Yes, you can't expect free handouts of dgb forever , someone is paying for those coins the gamers get. The gaming model is really a short term affair.

250,000 gamers was the goal mentioned.

I'll remind everyone yet again - let's see if we can get it through our thick heads - the idea of promoting DGB in the gaming community is to get them to mine DGB when they're not playing. The giveaway is promo, and the goal is to get miners making money in their downtime and supporting the network long term.

i guess many don't listen to it because its too long? even if many do, many don't listen with every bit of focus?
so i listened to it again, but this time...paying close attention to every word.

Before you read on, this info is mainly for those who who have been following DigiByte ever since early 2015. Because if you haven't been following for that long, then you probably won't know or see how much further DigiByte is going to go, how much more progress DigiByte is going to make for 2016. So its kinda like a Sneak Peak at DigiByte's RoadMap for 2016. i said "sneak peak". i obviously don't know the full roadmap.

i also did a tiny little bit of phrasing so that it helps to understand better what Jared is talking about. My advice is this: if there is anything in particular that you find to be interesting, please listen to the interview at the part which talks about it. listen 30 seconds before and 30 seconds after to get the full picture. listen to the questions and not just what Jared is saying.

Is there any documentation on how this ties in with CS:GO? I played a match to see how it all works since there's no information I could find (i.e., what types of matches count? What is the payout scale like? How do you verify you're actually being credited? Tons of unanswered things) and it looks like you just have to wait 6h or so and hope?

I saved some 100 +/- DGB on my digibytegaming.com account. However on the payout history page it always shows a rejected status.
Do I need more DGB to cover up for the transaction fees? or is the system broken?

For the first time in a very long time I am all in on BTC, both my coins digibyte and AUR got to a price I had to sell. Digibyte will settle at a price I am comfortable to buy at soon and I will use my AUR and digibyte profits to get back in.

I won't purchase digibyte over 50 sat as btc halving coming soon and btc will be pumped around May.

Why do everybody think all alts will dump when btc pumps?  ok, maybe the first reaction for people to dump but imo Bluechip alts like Digibyte will flow with Bitcoin price.

Think about it, Why would a pumper pump the altcoin when Bitcoin pump is over so during his pump USD value is expected to be lower when btc goes down.
Pumping a altcoin in the bitcoin pump is a much better tactic. Make money on the altcoin pump and make more money while btc pumps.

i always do cut and past so i don't know what goes wrong, and i forgot to check it after i crypted it

so i restore a backup of my wallet before i encrypted it, i read somewhere for bitcoins after you encrypt your wallet the old was cannot be use anymore
but it s still working on dgb and it s happen me on an other coin too, after i restore an encrypted wallet with the no encrypted copy  it was still working
