PS: Seems like what I was experiencing is the same that biodieselchris experienced, except that I did not lose any funds (I use Linux, so probably no Windows Trojan stole my password): WARNING -- I lost access to my account all of a sudden over the weekend -- maybe it was hacked, maybe not, not sure -- but my password suddenly stopped working and the reset function claims a message was sent but either a) none was, or b) the email was also fraudulently changed. I emailed supprt @ btce and they never responded. I lost some NMC and BTC.

Im not sure I am understanding you... "Once your account hacked"  Yeah it seems so. because my BTC 4.84 of them are gone... Go figure! And No i didnt share password, click on any phishing links... I just couldnt verify my e-mail because your website gave me an error when i tryed over and over again! I honestly think it was a server exploit on BTC-E.com side. Reason he didnt respond to me for hours. just told me WAIT on ICQ, now he is calling me an extortionist. Ofcourse. I asked him to fix my issue and I am an extortionist? Thats stupid and inmature!
I would like my 4.84 BTC
Indeed, very immature! Unbelievable. Probably some kids are running btc-e.com. Reminds me a lot of bitmarket.eu, who messed it up and made many people lose their funds (apparently due to incompetence rather than scam, but you never know...). I can't believe BTC-E is still the third largest BTC/USD exchange in terms of volumne (ref. http://bitcoinwatch.com) - I predict they will go the same way as bitmarket.eu and tradehill did (both of which I used to be client at but did not lose funds due to lots of luck), and from my experience I recommend everyone to withdraw your funds from there as long as you still can. I am glad I found this thread at the right time - I will forget my BTC-E login data now - and I will stop my relationship to BTC-E before it even started. Good luck to everyone. |

I'm locked out of my account because it is either locked, or my password was changed without my consent. I know I'm using the right password, because it is saved on my browser.
The meager 8 LTC I have on my account is all I own right now.
This lack of reply is very unprofessional. I don't know what I did wrong to deserve to not be replied to.
At least give me my damn coins back.
