I think to buy or not to buy Ethereum's your business. Personally, I buy and store Ethereum because there are dozens of reasons why Ethereum should be bought and hold. Problems and shortcomings exist in any cryptocurrency and this is normal. There are very few, if any, perfect things in the world.

I think to buy or not to buy Ethereum's your business. Personally, I buy and store Ethereum because there are dozens of reasons why Ethereum should be bought and hold. Problems and shortcomings exist in any cryptocurrency and this is normal. There are very few, if any, perfect things in the world.

Anyone can buy theorem based on his opinion about it. I really like ethereum because it's too strong and the most of ICO is based on it which it gives him more potential for second powerful one after bitcoin. Personally, I hold some ethereum for a long time now and I really like this investment and I hope I will make a very good profit in the future, same as bitcoin, I am sure that the market will increase with the increase of btc price.

Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

While I like ethereum I really think that the aspect that damages its price the most is the fact there is no limit to the amount of coins that are going to be created this is what makes bitcoin so valuable and in my opinion it is the main reason why it is going to be impossible for ethereum to ever surpass bitcoin in the market cap since people will always prefer bitcoin for that single characteristic alone.

My reason why I do not buy Ethereum is that I prefer to buy and invest in new coins and do HOLD for long periods.

The new coin is very risky, I think if you want to safe then invest in ETH, they are safe and can make you profit is also quite high. These new coins can make you profitable and they can also take away your capital, as there are many new coin projects that are not feasible, so it's not good to invest in them.

This is one of the good things about the forum you can learn a lot from a post made by another user but at the same time do an effort to learn more about the coins in which you are interested, like always the forum is a great source of information but also take the time to make your own research that way you will take an informed decision when you decide whether to invest in a coin or not.

I think you are right a part. but if i have more money i will try to buy and hold becauce at now the price of ETH low.

are not. I still believe eth will have Bitcoin over, and the price will go up. In this Crypto market, nothing is impossible. Be greedy when others are scared.

Though Ethereum is a good choice to most of us but there are some good altcoins that provide good services and security than Ethereum such as Ripples. If you could find a good altcoin i would say it will not be the Ethereum though Ethereum is the most widely used altcoin since most of the altcoins are ERC20 based. But there are altcoins that do have their own blockchain and it makes them different from Ethereum and a less traffic to their network unlike Ethereum.

There are many altcoins in the marketplace but still nothing can be able to compete the both bitcoin and ethereum. Whatever happens these coins will be top in the market. I do not know why this question has be raised here. You need to follow the price changes and pick the best you want.
If you ask all time top coins you should not miss the ethereum in that list first.
It will be grow more than 2k USD end of this year as I speculate the future growth.

And where do you got that number? That is a little bit less than 3% of the current cyptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap but that is not the whole market there are many other coins out there that are not listed there, so it is possible that you think that survival rate of altcoins is even lower than that and while I agree that many altcoins have no reason to exist I do not know if so many coins will disappear.
