Hey all,

having a really tough time getting appropriate numbers out of my 290Xs. I have two 290X cards (and one 7950) and am running the 13.12 drivers with crossfire disabled.

I've tried both ultracoinminer and the sj modded cgminer and get the same KH/S out of the cards. I haven't noticed any issues compared to other people's numbers when mining MAX or LTC/multi-coin pools.

Each 290X is only getting me between 350-400kh/s with the following config file:

Code:
"device" : "1,2",
"api-listen" : true,
"intensity" : "18",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "512",
"kernel" : "scrypt-jane",
"failover-only" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "75",
"expiry" : "30",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "1",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "60",
"scrypt-jane" : true,
"sj-nfmin" : "4",
"sj-nfmax" : "30",
"sj-time" : "1388361600",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shaders" : "2816",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-thread" : "1",
"sharethreads" : "32",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "940",
"gpu-memclock" : "1400"
}

I've tried TC down to 24000 and up to 32765 (what I use for normal Scrypt) and the KH didn't change at all. Intensity between 18-20 bumps from 350 to closer to 400, but it tops out there. The 7950 gets around 250 and maxes out around 300. Using Win7x64 with 12GB of RAM. I get the same thing from running the .bat file as well with settings entered.

Any ideas?

What kh/s are you expecting? You're aware that Scrypt Jane will NOT give you the same hash output as your LTC miners right?

I run 290's getting around 330-350 and thats not bad at all....they were at about 690 pre N factor change and I get 880 from them in LTC mining mode

OK so maybe it isn't that off. I did a search in this thread and saw people saying they were getting 700+ KH/s with 290X cards and thought I had something configured incorrectly. If it is working correctly with the n-factor change then I'm less worried. Thanks!

Just for information:

My 280x are currently hashing at 290 with 1050 core.
My 290 are currently hashing at 330 with 977 core.

Both rigs hash with less power: 33W per 280x and 60W per 290.

If you can give me an evidence that you two have done that, I'll would spend 35 UTC to each of you as a little support.
Maybe others will follow.

what 2 guys have paid?

--------------------------HERE's the Posts Relating to your question---------------------------------

Easy fix.

I do hope the main post is updated soon. We just need to continue supporting UTC. There MUST be promotions and community events to draw in a bigger crowd. There needs to be incentive to mine and interest to stay.

well I would put up the BTC for say 50k UTC

3.00 BTC will make UTC be at $2 of AllCrypt.com vote list.
0.50 BTC will make UTC be at #2 of MintPal vote list.
0.25 BTC will make UTC be listed at CryptoRush asap.

Cryptorush would probably be the best to target first in that group.  Good following and volume.  Pretty trustworthy owners, from what I understand

With that in mind, I will put down 1000 UTC to whomever donates to CryptoRush. That's valued at .28 BTC right now. Would cover the cost. Show proof of the donation with confirmation, and the 1000 UTC is yours.

0.25 BTC will make UTC be listed at CryptoRush

I am considering doing this so I can work out what way UTC is going to go
but with out the Dev's approval >>> Huh

$150 USD  is nothing if UTC gets back to $1 a coin
but for 1000 UTC I would defiantly do it with or without Dev's consent Tongue

LOL I just came up with 1k UTC  for CryptoRush

PM me and as a community we will get this rolling Tongue

moving my BTC from BTC-e to block-chain wallet as I type

Here's the link to apply for coin listing at cryptorush.  It looks like anyone can post the .25 for submission

https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=list-your-coin

Get A Coin Listed on Crypto Rush

Using this page you can apply for and submit a request to have a/your Crypto Currency listed on the exchange.

We charge a flat rate fee of 0.25 BTC to list a new coin on the site. This is to handle server costs. Please bare this in mind before submitting a request, that your coin will not be considered otherwise due to the sheer amount of coins we currently support.

at the bottom it says

"If you are the developer submitting the request, you'll be contacted by email for further queries"

so, it may be better to have bumface /ziggy submit the application to get further inquires;  but I'm not sure there

I ticked the box any how
 what are B / Z going to do ??
 take my UTC from my wallet Tongue

now to try for .5 BTC @ mintpal.com , any willing to back me up on that one ?

$300 is a bit on the high side , especially if the coin flops out I put $10k worth of mining rentals into the launch mine's and currently starting to make a loss with the direction UTC is heading now

o wait ... Don't delete my post  ...  I am just trying ... to ... help

*edit*
scrap that its not .5 BTC
its 0.00005000 BTC per vote and .5BTC is only 10k votes we need over 20k votes to top
STY @ 19279 votes

*another sad edit *
allcrypt.com is not 3 BTC to get in its 12,500 satoshi per vote
( 24000 votes )

and it looks like 5k votes WAS to get ( DODGE ) in,
 but their are heaps of coins now over 20k votes #1 being 40k

CryptoRush retweeted my tweet about Ultracoin being added on their exchange!  Grin
https://twitter.com/jakimanboy/status/435290975728967680

I just send you the block of UTC bumface gave me for the compiled scrypt-jane cgminer for BAMT. Feel like chipping in on the efforts. Cheers

well I got emails back from exchanges

mintpal.com

We periodically pick the top coin from this list & BTC will not guarantee you a place on the exchange.

So is it still worth trying to buy votes ?

Your request to list a coin on Crypto Rush has been received.
Name of Crypto: UltraCoin (UTC)

https://blockchain.info/address/1HzgqwNSvxFvy8qFMeD6sRSNhQ6AdfEmrU

Ahh, yes, MasterCatz. A deal's a deal. Sending 500 now for good measure. When the coin is actually up and listed, I'll send over the remaining 500. Grin

MasterCATZ and I paid the fee. He sent over the BTC and I sent him 500 UTC to split the difference.

Think that's all the postings related to the cryptorush bounty fee.  WOOT!!  For being listed on Cryptorush!  Great work guys!!
