guys, do not use this crappy coinmarket.io https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454186.0 there has been a lot of questions on this site regarding UTC. Basically we can't do anything to our UTC's there. We mined and invested a lot, and they are still holding it like a hostage. This people behind this site do not even care to give information about the status of the UTC's. It has been days and its still the same situation. If you care about your UTC's and investments in general, it is better to avoid this site at all.

A paranoid person might wonder if someone is fudging numbers (for other coins) to keep "donations" coming in.  Donations probably exceed BTC fees for a short while after listing, so could even be advantageous to the exchange.  Either way, mintpal doing well on this fight for the top.  Still voting here.

Totally agree, I am not worried about Mintpal vote, we are getting there no matter what. However, the community spirit I am seeing here is Ultra-terrific. This is what I saw in the Kitteh community when it was an obscure coin, they came together and forced it on all exchanges. We can do this,  some  people here who are doing an Ultra-marvelous job, I will not name you one by one, you know who you are, and the community appreciates your hard work.

I think the trading community having to donate just to get a coin listed on an exchange is bogus, as well as unduly greedy.  The exchanges should earn their money via fees. Smacks of bribery.  I don't know what it took to get UTC listed on Crypto-Trade, but for the last several weeks, UTC trading MADE the exchange.  They would never have been able to uprade their hardware/software without it, and now look at all of the volume (with the accompanying trading fees.)

EDIT:  I looked at Mintpal's website and voting...They say that voting gets the majority of the coins listed, they reserve the right to list a coin anyway.  Imo, they will enjoy the voting (and donating) frenzy, then eventually list UTC anyway...why ignore a potential cash cow?

Really, who cares about mintpal? This exchange should pay for UTC listing, not the other way around. There is only 1 good thing in this voting race - it helps to build community. And that is the reason why I'm voting too.

Its been down at least 7-8 hours that I know of so far.. the support link doesn't work either!

You can trade at binaryfund.com, not that much volume but if some of the community members go there...
Price is going up though .

Keep in mind that Binary Fund has some display bugs, but back-end everything is working fine.

Maybe it is a different version I have - can't access it till tomorrow unfortunately..
