I have a rig of 3X7950 and for some reason, after more than a few days of mining UTC, it began to crash. I have screen lockups and only hard-reset helps.
When I restart the mining, it works for a few minutes, then the screen freezes and the rig does not respond.

Any idea?

HW errors due to Nfactor change ?

sounds like intensity is too high ?

does it still mine other coins fine for long periods ?

I just proved today the cards run cooler mining UTC then other coins , I decided to mine with the spare R9 290 thats in my file server / multimedia pc

it normally runs fine around low 70's running flat 900 mhz on UTC , put it on multipool today and instantly flagged GPU over heating its currently at 75 deg 95% fan speed running under 500mhz now
room temp high 40's sweating my ass off

There are a few HW errors.
OS is W7 x64 SP1 Ultimate

Other rigs mine without problems with even higher intensity.
If I remember correctly the Catalyst version is smthn like 12.8
It was once recommended.

I tried mining in windows too as my first rig starts to lock up frequently, but it was NOT releated to the OS.

After changing to a better power supply I never had any lockups anymore.

I got no luck anywhere else, so my hopes are someone from crypto-trade sees this here instead.

I tried to transfer some BTC off crypto-trade well over 16 hours ago for an opportunity. The transfer has been stuck in "waiting" since then. 12 hours ago I wrote a ticket asking them to cancel my withdrawal because the opportunity wasn't there anymore due to the slow transfer.

So far nothings happened with my transfer, nor my ticket. And admins in the shoutbox doesn't answer any of my questions.

So, how long has it taken everyone else to withdraw btc?

I have - probably still have the emails if you want proof.
Me too.

About the "exclusivity deal".. no I don't have proof nor I made that claim. It all started as a rumour (heard it from imginy i think?).

A rumour I intended to clear by asking bumface. I did. Everytime he just deleted the posts.

It would explain why he refuses to list the coin onto anything bigger than Crypto-Trade (and why he mentions the increased volume of CT so often-wtf cares? y should we?), even when it's readily avaliable.

Like the Crypto-Rush deal someone proposed.

Also I heard bumface has admin status on CT. Can someone confirm?

So if it ain't true... just say so. If you instead censor the comments it's normal for people to start actually believing it.

Well, I know he doesn't have admin status on CT.  As to the rest, I have no idea.

cant you just stop making stuff up? your embaracing yourself, few pages back AGAIN with the 80 btc fud, we did not earn 80 btc you oompaloompa, we had MANY 10 thousand dollars in costs.....i have invested a large sum of my btc from the stakes in scrypt asics so i will have money to spend on UTC developments( websites, games services), i told you guys we are thinking about the future, and as far as 2015

i reported you for constant lies and fud

The irony of investing your large sum of BTC from flipping the premine of an ASIC-resistant coin on Scrypt ASICs is quite delicious.  You must consider them to be the future.  I applaud your decision to to not invest that BTC in buying UTC from the market though.  It's tanking and you'd have lost a large amount of it.

I don't think that ASICs are obsolete in the next time, there is much you can mine with it.
BUT I think ASIC-resistent coins definitly have a future.

We all care too much what the DEVs do/don't do I think, I know there was a premine to pay something etc... but other coins communities does more active in positive way than just waiting for the DEVs.

I'm sure bumface would do his work, even if he doesn't gives us all time an update how his last defecation was twice a day.

Hi!

Why that for me 2 video cards 7950 give out in general only 500 k/h here. Or is it normal for the booty of UTC?

Help

Yep, might be right.

I've about 260k/h per 7950.

Hey all,

having a really tough time getting appropriate numbers out of my 290Xs. I have two 290X cards (and one 7950) and am running the 13.12 drivers with crossfire disabled.

I've tried both ultracoinminer and the sj modded cgminer and get the same KH/S out of the cards. I haven't noticed any issues compared to other people's numbers when mining MAX or LTC/multi-coin pools.

Each 290X is only getting me between 350-400kh/s with the following config file:

Code:
"device" : "1,2",
"api-listen" : true,
"intensity" : "18",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "512",
"kernel" : "scrypt-jane",
"failover-only" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "75",
"expiry" : "30",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "1",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "60",
"scrypt-jane" : true,
"sj-nfmin" : "4",
"sj-nfmax" : "30",
"sj-time" : "1388361600",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shaders" : "2816",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-thread" : "1",
"sharethreads" : "32",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "940",
"gpu-memclock" : "1400"
}

I've tried TC down to 24000 and up to 32765 (what I use for normal Scrypt) and the KH didn't change at all. Intensity between 18-20 bumps from 350 to closer to 400, but it tops out there. The 7950 gets around 250 and maxes out around 300. Using Win7x64 with 12GB of RAM. I get the same thing from running the .bat file as well with settings entered.

Any ideas?
