Also,

Is there a timeframe on when Mintpal is going to choose the next coin? Im willing to buy votes with BTC, but i'd rather do it at the last minute so we can lock in a win. Does anyone know a specific timeframe on when they will pick the next coin?

...I am also serious considering to buy votes with BTC, even if the DEV don't want to "invest" by that way....

I am thinking about "investing"  0,5 or even 1,0 BTC for buying votes...

So anybody can tell me what is the best (European/Amsterdam) time to make this transaction so it really can help our coin to be nr 1 and get listed Huh

Last time the contest ended at 1pm GMT.
From received donation to confirmation to the actual adding of corresponding votes takes some time however.

Anyway, if you do that, Panda's supporters are just gonna do the same, unless you do it at the last possible useful moment, but it's risky.

Just send 0,4 BTC to MintPal at adress 1F3F8TALQ9QMuJ8CFhdhgQv1a2D2Sz489k just to get up at same level of votes of the Panda's voters...just for know

I CAN ONLY WISH MORE PEOPLE WILL DO HELP BY THIS WAY IN THE UPCOMING 11 HOURS SO WE WILL BE AT NR 1 AND GET ADD AT THE EXCHANGE ...

Off course voting, next to eventually donating, is also very important !!!!!

Wow a whole 0,4btc you highroller you are!!!! You think that will stop the mighty Panda?! hahaha
Thanks fur laffs tho!!

Mr. Spekkoper from Holland .... at least I try, as many others here,  to do something for UTC and help UTC and the UTC community...

It is not important if somebody donates 0,004 or 0,4 or 1,0... what is important is that we do .....

But mr. Spekkoper....What did you do for UTC lately ?

Nothing!! I shit on UTC  Grin

The fact that you panda guys are even reading and commenting in the ULTRACOIN thread means UTC scares you. I dont troll the Panda page cause there's nothing that interests me there.

But good luck with the coin ive got nothing against it

Agree! I look forwarding to buying in, dumping and making a quick couple of btc off PND. Then I'll take that BTC and buy UTC. And if we're both on the same exchange, that's even better!

Thanks for the tip Cointradero, if it happens again I will try that listtransactions method to see, as it is, the wallets are gone now and I am going to reinstall Catalyst 13.2 as I am having a problem with one of the cards now, RPM isn't going above 168, think the fan has died, today is so far being a bit rubbish Tongue

A big thanks also to bumface for helping out and suggesting a few things to try before finally starting over, great support from all, thanks Smiley

i recouped you 50 utc, dont tell anybody  Wink

+1

Anyone else notice that bumface seems to have no problem with shelling out coins when it comes to helping the community grow while he has a personal policy of not bribing the exchanges to list UTC.  I think this says a lot about his character and vision for Ultracoin and it makes a lot of sense to me.  If we build a community around UTC, the exchanges really won't have much of a choice if they want our business.  This is how we will end up on BTC-e and ... Coinbase.   Cheesy  Don't sweat the small stuff and stay positive!  We are going to get there.

Welcome aboard, Mikebeav3r!  Mine hard.

Welcome aboard, Mikebeav3r!  Mine hard.

I mined too hard, killed a GPU, lol.
Might have to take the single XFX DD out of my tower and use it as a temp solution in my UTC rig, I dislike having less than 1 MH/s dedicated to this.
Like you say, it's a good community, I tried at launch to get it set up, but at the time I only had a dual XFX setup, and getting my head round the SJ thing was too much, I have been keeping an eye on it since launch though and when the rigs arrived last Monday, I did a lot more research and put one to mining this and the other to that Flappycoin, the draw of 500k - 1 mil coins per day is way too much speculation to miss out on (plus everyone involved in it is equally nice as here), UTC however looks like a coin that is pretty useful, and some nice ideas / team behind it, shall stick with these two coins for the forseable future, just hope CT can sort their little problem out in a hurry, they were a nice, easy to navigate exchange, unlike some of the others kicking around.

so what is the current best functional exchange for UTC now?
coinmarket is paused, crypto-trade has been in maintenance mode for 3 days now?
combined with the terrible news of a collapsed mtgox, it all feel fishy now.

---> @Bumface;

MintPal Coin Voting says: "We're also accepting payment votes! We've put a lot of time and capital in to making the exchange, and we believe it's only right to let users show their confidence in new coins by allowing them to use their wallets."

Im am using my wallet just this evening before.

Many others did do before !

What about you Bumface.... come on and also show your confidence and use your wallet today to get us on MintPal.

If you do 1 BTC, i will do also 1 BTC extra next to the 0,4 BTC i did before today.

Can we make a deal right now Huh

Bumface already said he doesn't want to, and doesn't even have the funds because he invested all the IPO money on asic scrypt miners.

Btw, Crypsty is also adding Benjamins as no.157 and Smartcoin as 158.

Hmmm no funds....sometimes you must invest "extra" for the future...

Any way, i invest today 1,4 BTC and i can only wish and hope more people from our community can and will follow in the next 8 hours before MintPal is adding...

Proof of sending the BTC is to find here : https://blockchain.info/address/1F3F8TALQ9QMuJ8CFhdhgQv1a2D2Sz489k
