KC

Just joined with extra 4% donate fee. I just wish I could get my GPU's up to par. I've got dual 290x's with 4 gigs each.
I've tried to utilize the miner configuration but I just can't seem to get this thing to run any better than this. Here are my settings due to hardware errors. And if I quit the miner my computer always goes into a blue screen crash.

ultracoinminer --scrypt-jane --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 3 --thread-concurrency 56512 -I 12 --auto-fan -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ultracoinpool.info:3333  -u craigclaussen.Ultminer -p Mineroneniner --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

My k/hash at 28 per card and my WU at 22 per card.

Any help appreciated.

Any help appreciated

not sure but try lookup gap 4 some1 with 290x's should be able to help you out more

also you may need to restart the pc each time you close the miner cause sometimes it dont go full speed until a restart

Thanks so much!!

It runs great now. I've got all the configuration the same as what is posted on the miner configuration provided except for your recommendation on the lookup gap of 4.
My new scrypt is:
ultracoinminer --scrypt-jane --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 4 --thread-concurrency 113024 -I 13 --auto-fan -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ultracoinpool.info:3333  -u -p --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

Im getting 45 K/hash per card and about an average of 27 WU's per card. Both are at 74.0C which I love! No HW at all!!

Send me a receiver SxC, I'll send you some coin!

Cheers!

Next week, price UTC 'll be up over 0.0001. I sure!!!

well for sure its gonna rocket up but on the way there will be the weak hand's selling

but general trend now is UP

I think the problem is going to be the fact that most people can't spot the difference between a pump and a legitimate rise.  Any natural rise we have is going to get pumped on top, but for us it shouldn't matter, the overall trend at the end of those pumps will be higher than the beginning.  I lump UTC into the category of "good coins that actually have a chance".  If you look at Darkcoins recent activity (also in that category), I think it is a great example of what will happen with Ultracoin.

Here are all of your reasons to buy ULTRACOIN.  Hopefully we can continue to improve upon this list as we move forward.

“It's the BEST coin.”

“It is still cheap”

“The community is great”

“The devs are great”

“DCgirl, Bumface, Jakob”

“It's ASIC resistant, so you can still use your old GPU”

“It's simply 'ultropia'! Great community, great devs, great future!”

“Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! (fastest crypto)”

“potential & development”

“PROOF OF STAKE”

Short-term decisions and efforts are being made with the goal of optimizing profitability for both miners and investors ...pools are being put in place, rewards are being decreased, trading tools are being developed and a comprehensive marketing push is being prepared” (250 UTC)

“Long-term plans are in place to facilitate adoption of Ultracoin in the real world.”

“The Ultracoin team is committed to benefiting the entire crypto community”

“It has a goal and is capable of standing on its own, having a value that will not be affected by other coins”

“Consistently profitable to mine”

“It has a transparent community that assists one another with ongoing support”  (250 UTC)

“It's Ultra-fast, so you don't have to wait ~1h (BTC) for your transactions getting confirmed”
Excellent but DQ, sorry I have to stay with the rules.

dcgirl and leekua thanks a lot -funds are being transferred ultrafast.

Can I get a few community votes on the third best reason?  I'll go with your pick for the remaining 250 UTC.

Wow! Thank you so much ultrasmart! Cheers for you!  Smiley

Wh1teKn1ght
Ridiculous is when that all one week/month coloured coins ppl pumping and dumping to low price.
Another month ppl forget about this coins because that coins is made for quick profit, and when price will be very low ppl left that coins.
Then what..? is that stake is good ?
This trend would soon end as airdrops.

Devs can't do anything do with that coins in future. 100% PoS and nothing else. Some marketing , youtube videos and what next when ppl forget that coin?

UTC is different because is UNIVERSAL long-term coin with 20% interest per year is not ridiculous when price is stable and grow.
Finally we UTC community and devs day by day trying to be better and better .
If another coin will do something we do it better, when we something do UTC always be one step ahead, that is the difference.
This coin have soul because people are still active in it does not matter if the price is low or high. We proved it many times.
Because ppl believe in future of UTC and in future UTC change crypto world.
I personally talk with devs about some innovations in PoS, maybe in another phase will PoS change , time will tell.
Now focus on buying cheap UTC because tommorow, will be change block reward from 50 to 15 for 4 years..
Price is still low, buy from some weak hands now, dumpers now feed the whales , price will go up and make money.
