Smiley oh yeah, ads. I love it. Seriously. Every way of monitizing bitmit allows you to keep fees for users low and this is just great.

Feature request 1: A "packaging" state for orders. As well as it's possible to mark an order as "shipped", it would be nice to be able to mark it as "packaging".

Use of this feature could be optional. Marking an item as "shipped" would make it obvious it's already been packed.

Feature request 2: An "internal notes" field for orders. It's already possible to make internal notes (visible only to the seller) for item listings. I would like to be able to make such for orders as well, to serve as a redundancy to my own order handling system. A feature like this would also be very useful for small-scale sellers that don't run their own system in parallel with Bitmit.

I got a question:

I bought something, nothing arrived for 2 months.
After some discussion with the seller that was not pointing to anything i cancelled the order as i want to get my BTC back.

But the seller did click the "I sent this item" button so where are the BTC? and how do i get them back?

Ps: in the first message of the seller he wanted me not to use escrow but just a given btc address, so i think this is an obv. scam that leads me to the wish to get my btc back asap!

why didn't you just ask the on-site support? make sure to tell them the order number.

I'm getting quite frustrated with some buyers on BitMit. They pay the escrow and take my digital product, but only after I send them several messages and more than 48-hours has passed do they randomly release the BTC from escrow, all without any communication, and then they don't even bother to leave me positive feedback! One of them still hasn't even released my BTC from his escrow yet and I'm unsure if he ever will.

Is there any way to leave negative feedback for these fickle-minded buyers or otherwise avoid them? I think we can all agree that we don't want to deal with them. Is there any other form of protection as a seller from these people?

And leaving negative feedback will only get you revenge feedback from users that just make a new account if they ever want to buy anything on Bitmit.

Please make "items order" permanent for the session. For example, if i select "Price: Highest first", make it permanent for the whole session. It's so annoying to click and change settings for every effin new search string.
Thx for feedback. I put it to our todo list.

If you are sending small amounts without a fee it can take "some time" until the tx gets confirmed.

Maybe they were not aware how the escrow process works exactly. We could put an additional note/little introduction for first-buyers on the order page.

If the seller has not viewed the order the btc were already credited back to your Bitmit wallet. Otherwise the seller need to accept your refund request. Alternatively you can write us a mail and we care about this faster.

I will put this on our todo list too , good to know what needs you have.

Ad slots
The first three ad slots have been sold. I will put up 2 new ad slots for next week. We will run the third ad slot as test-run in cooperation with CoinURL.com. You will be able to choose Bitmit as advertising site on CoinURL. This has a lot of benefits, you can set which users you want to reach (country, browser etc.) and the whole process is automatic.

Stats of the current slots can be found here: https://www.bitmit.net/en/adslots/stats

Ideally it shouldn't be a question of too low/no fee, the fee should be calculated based on https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Reference_Implementation

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

I have a feature request.

I recently requested my account name be changed from "ReCat", to "RadimirBTC". I am happy with the change. However, outdated links like the one found in my signature cease to function. Can something be done so that old links will redirect, or that the new page can contain some text indicating that the account was previously known as "ReCat"?

Regards,
