which miner and os do u use ?
at the moment i have 4 x 355 kh/s, moded cgminer 3.7.2 config:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer --scrypt -o server -u user -p pw -v 1 -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune -20 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --thread-concurrency 8193 --no-submit-stale
while experimenting yesterday on a other worker with 3 x 280x i had some problems with devices going off, after a reboot the problem was solved (same config) not sure what it was
Thanks for reply! I am using Vertminer 0.5.2, everything okie. My result: 4x311Khz/s Temp about 68'c "intensity" : "13", "thread-concurrency" : "8193", "gpu-engine" : "1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "gpu-threads" : "1" I want to up to 350Khz/s. Can you help me! Thanks!

Not sure if this is the correct place to put this or if any of you are interested, but I was able to get GUIMiner working with the Scrypt-Adaptive-N algorithm for anyone who is interested. You can download it from here http://www.thesuicidekings.info/GUIMiner-ScryptAdaptiveN.zip. I used an older version of GUIMiner Scrypt and added Aleks_NR3's CGMiner to it. Simple yet effective for those of you who like the GUI interface. It has many good preloaded settings for 5xxx - 7xxx series cards. Hope this helps some guys out! Cheers. PS: I understand I haven't posted on BTCTalk much at all, so feel free to run a virus-scan. You won't find anything but a helpful tool for a great new coin

-I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune -20 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500
Keep up the mining!

Does RAM really influence the hash rates? Now I think about it my HD7950 in a 12GB system does get better rates on the Vertcoin algo, while on Scrypt this card is the weakest I have.

How much are you getting from 7950 on 12 GB RAM sys? interesting.. Above 300KH/s on the 12GB system and around 275KH/s on the 4GB system. 4GB is an X48 mobo with DDR3 and Sapphire Vapor-X cards 12GB is an X58 mobo with DDR3 too but with a PowerColor card On Scrypt it's turned around, 4GB sys gets 625KH/s and 12GB sys gets 575KH/s. But that's probably because the PowerColor cards sucks.

Maybe I'll switch to win8.1 I've only just installed Win8 64 Pro on my two miners and with the latest AMD drivers they appear faster and more stable over the last 24 hours. Win 7 64 was good for me before so I'm not certain if it is the latest drivers or the ABE7 modded vbios that I did on the video cards before I installed Win8. Writing my own vbios gpu/mem/vddc with ABE7 means I don't need to install CCC, CCC Manager, Trix, AB etc. I did a custom install with AMD Drivers and only selected Video Drivers. Miners work fine so far even without SDK installed and I get them to compile new .cl files on new install many times to find right settings. ABE7 - http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/10/undervolting-in-linux-via-modified-bios/Once you know your optimum GPU settings you write them to the vbios and can boot straight into windows and start the miner. You can still tweak your gpu/mem and powertune clocks from within your miner as the vddc settings are now set in ROM so wont change above what you programmed with VBE7 :-)

Check this forum post to see if your card has a better vbios available first. https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12369.0I'm using ASUS R9280x cards which don't need the love that all the rest of the r9280x cards seem to need from that post. If you have ASUS Rr280x then just use VBE7 to set the clocks and volts to your liking. Run your miner without settings to find base TC and adjust from there. Happy hashing
