Is support staff here? I noticed that the bitcoin address for deposit changed automatically. But normally i need a fresh address for every deposit and when i deposit i deposit from 4 or 5 addresses that should not connect. I mean i don't want to let everyone know in which projects i invested or whatever.

Poloniex, please change things back. Especially when the bitcoin price is crashing you want to upload the coins fast. This is not possible if you get, maybe, one unique address a day. I would need to search another exchange then since i value my privacy.

I agree. If users were abusing manual address generation somehow, just generate a new address each time an old one is used.

Edit: InfiniteJest just said in the Trollbox that this is because of some kind of abuse. Why not limit it to a max of 1 new Address every few minutes or just do as P-Funk said, use a new one after an old one has been used. Thats good practice in Crypto anyway.
For now, I'll have to go with another service until this functionality is restored..

Did you check out the request to add $ROS #Roscoin? Old coin with still a dev walking around, i believe this should be traded on Poloniex. Not a lot of coins can say that they still have a dev after 15 months of launch... most of them are already sitting in Ibiza and spending premine/ICO money of their scam coin.

I was in contact with support and explained the problems for privacy with that function. Staff saw the problem and told me the following:

It is now possible to generate a new address every 24 hours via the API.
More sophisticated restrictions should not be difficult, like a certain
USD value of deposits being necessary before a new address is allowed,
but the UI will need to be adapted to present appropriate error messages.

I asked if it is only possible with API:

It's possible if you use the API, which might be a bit of a pain to set
up if you've never used it before or don't have command line experience.
Shouldn't take too long to make the UI changes.

I submitted a request to have our coin added: NexusNiro BTC/NIRO

Currently, we have the Github repository closed-source since we have a number of technical innovations that we did not want scam developers to clone until we were ready to release the code to the public.  It is based off of peercoin but having been heavily re-coded to address and resolve many flaws in both the Peercoin and Bitcoin protocols.  There's a number of innovations you can read about in our white-paper: http://nexusniro.com/papers/.  We are fine with open-sourcing Nexus Core if this is a requirement for adding to Poloniex.

I’m trying to use LENDING at your Exchange a bit more than one week with small amount of btc for testing purpose and found it complicated to control and very manual especially then MY ACTIVE LOANS window refreshes every 30 seconds. I’d like to deposit more coins but afraid it will be impossible to control more active loans than I have now (my btc spreads to 250+ active loans). Sorry if something in my description will be not clear enough as English is not my native language.
So please add an additional Action Control above MY ACTIVE LOANS window in LENDING section.
Action Control could be used to change «Auto-renew» flag in all of my open loans with condition of  «above» or «below» selected Rate within chosen Coin. Feature is requested to provide user intension to keep loan offers at or near effective Rate at the market of loan offers. And also it will be helpful to realize intension to return back coins at lending account (condition «all»).

As I see that Action Control should consist off following fields above MY OPEN LOANS window:
«Coin» – chosen coin indicator, it can be set by default to Coin name (like «BTC» or «ETH») when user clicks or tap line at MY BALANSES window at top right of the screen.
«[  ]» – Auto-renew checkbox, indicates an action («On» or «Off»)
«Condition_ listbox» – listbox with 3 values («above >» , «below <», «all») which indicates range of active loans used to change «Auto-renew» flag depending on selected conditions.
«Rate» – rate value field, can be filled manually or by clicking to one of the lines within LOAN OFFERS window (Field is not required if value «all» is chosen in «Condition_ listbox»).
(Apply)» – submit action button that will realize change action of «Auto-renew» flag within range of active loans with selected conditions.

Here is example of Action Control fields with captions (fields are quoted):
«BTC»: Set «[   ]» Auto-renew  in all loans «below <» «0,0140»% (Apply)
(after pressing "Apply" button Auto-renew flag will be set to «Off» within  all BTC active loans with rate below 0,0140%).
