Got notification they updated their terms:

https://www.poloniex.com/terms/

Quote
23. ARBITRATION
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY – IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY HEAR YOUR CLAIMS.

<snip>

ADDITIONALLY, YOU HEREBY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. We each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, we each waive any right to a jury trial. If a court or federal regulator with oversight over Poloniex decides that applicable law precludes enforcement of any of this section’s limitations as to a particular claim for relief, then that claim (and only that claim) must be severed from the arbitration and may be brought in court, subject to your and Poloniex's right to appeal the court's decision. All other claims will be arbitrated.

So basically one on one and so much for that suepoloniex website that popped up. If you dont agree to these terms ask for account closure, does that mean an IMMEDIATE refund of all coins in the account? ? ?

This is another reason to ditch Poloniex; if they are going to dictate to us that they can abrogate there legal obligations (which they can't) then I advise everyone to jump ship now as this is another sign of a company that's going go down the drain if it treats its customers like this.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I'm just curious, will Poloniex be giving out Bitcoin Gold to holders of Bitcoin on the Poloniex exchange. It will be interesting to see if anyone dares to move there precious Bitcoin to Poloniex in the hope that there Bitcoin will actually get to the exchange on time - after all, your Bitcoin will be stuck in the Poloniex limbo for several weeks so better get sending now.

Poloniex will be giving btc gold to ntc holder in the same fashion as how it was with bch? I never heard about this, although maybe that's because I never be around polo anymore.

However, if you put your money in polo, then it got credited to your account after several time, and you got your btcg, wouldn't it still be double lost? First because you lost your chance to trade your btc for some time while you put them in polo, and second (also ultimately) you will still lost your money because there is a good chance that, after being credited with btcg, you still can't take both of them out from polo.

Polo's limbo hit quite random, though. So you might be lucky and managed to get your money out.

I think this is the problem, the randomness of the Limbo Effect; most will not be affected, but when they are it hurts !
Poloniex would not be able to trade if there were not more people successfully deposting/withdrawing there coins but a significantly large number of people are having this problem - tell me of another exchange where getting coins stuck 'in transit' is such a major problem.
New users of Poloniex should be warned of the highly likelyhood of there coins vanishing into thin air - at least for several weeks.

I though before that Poloniex was the best market because it had fast withdraws, deposits and everything. But as soon they removed the Trollbox and told that they got all the staff on answering the "Support Tickets" it's all been going down.
They never answer support tickets, not answered mine for 4 months now...
I'm just wondering if somebody actually got an answer from Poloniex Support in last months?

This one did, although I am not sure how legit his claim is. A brand new account posting to complained how he placed 0.5 btc and some STR on selling orders "just for fun" and it didn't appear anywhere in the orderbook. Then, miraculously, the support team helped him in 1 day. Yet after I asked for some screenshot, he went missing. So basically his account is created to complain one issue, then to inform us that (he said and I quote) the poloniex support is officially alive

I hope this is not someone from Poloniex, either with or without there approval, trying to make a positive post about how good Poloniex support is.. do I hear cries of "Fake news".. as this would be a sign that there's definitely trouble in paradise.

Hello Poloniex,

What is the status of Boolberry withdrawals? Some in the community have had support tickets open for 6+ months with no response others getting responses and withdrawals after 3 months. I hope you didn't delete these coins from your exchange because you're potentially dealing with a heavy class action lawsuit and from the looks of this thread it would include other coins.

I suppose you should of thought about this before manipulating the market and delisting the project without explanation.

I've opened a couple tickets during the summer and got answers. I'm not very active on the site (mostly lending, only BTC) so I don't have many opportunities to open tickets, as 99% of the time everything works.

This is really bad, you lost around 0.2btc because of the very slow withdrawal. It is very bad service for a big exchange but I wonder why people is still using this site. Is there any good signs for them to compensate you because of it? 0.2btc for your case only, wondering how many people getting the same problem with you and how many withdrawals being delayed for 3 months?
