No, not really. I see a steady rise of about 2-5 new ones per day on average. I am seeing more chatter about Dash these days, however.

My foughts right now
1) DASH is traded on poloniex.
2) Poloniex is a pump and dump, margin exchange.
3) DASH price slummed down, as all  people got into ETH right now.
4) ETH is just a hype right now, and soon it will go down like a train with all the margin shorting
5) When ETH goes down, the released bitcoin from ETH most likely will pour into DASH
6) So you shoud hurry up.

Good thing is, even with all the sales of DASH price is 0.01, so it was not just a hype trend up.

Exactly. Now you can see every alts are up because ETC profits need to go everywhere else. Even DOGE is almost 100% up.

Why is that?  I mean, our pumps have NEVER been by much.  25-30% tops  Maybe once we hit 50%, but these other coins have been pumped over 200% in 24 hours.  I'd like to know why they've never done that to Dash?  Is there something inherently resistant to pumps in Dash?  Is it the Masternodes?  Maybe if they try to pump too hard, Masternode owners will cash out and sell, and they know that liquidity wouldn't allow them to sell off in time to make a profit (or however they do it )  I think that's it actually.  They can't play like that with Dash.

I think our recent price increase was merely real interest.  The other day when it hit 0.017 on Poloniex, it was just some last drops someone bought, probably to make it an even number.  the real sales of volume were below 0.013.  And then came the correction.  All healthy looking IMO.  But I'm so amateurish at this game, I'm mostly guessing.

The thing is, we've had well over 100 masternodes cash out, and I'm going to assume those were people who want to keep masternodes but think they can make more Dash in the market right now.  But I fear that the price won't go down much more and those Dashers won't be able to get their coins back   I've been there and done that and won't do it again.  I can't figure out the highs or the lows, and if you can't do that, you lose

That's great, actually. It means our growth is healthy and sustainable (as much as possible for a cryptocurrecy, anyway)

We definitely had some good pumps... from the 0.001x levels to 0.025-8 from April to May '14, then it crashed, post-Mintpal I think, in something like 0.003, then it went back up to something like 0.01, then it trended lower, then with the rebrand it hit 0.025+ and now, again, from 0.005 a couple of weeks ago to 0.017 a few days ago.

Yah, but when I see Doge being pumped like that and we have so much innovation, it's like being stabbed.  I know it's because Ethereum is integrating with Doge, but even Ethereum, I don't think, has the potential for growth that we have.  So why why why???  And we sit here, flat-lined in our price category day in and day out.

My emotions are getting to me again, LOL.  I'm gonna step away for a while.  It is good that we've gone up, what? 25% or so and held it, so I'm happy.  We'll make slow and steady progress.  It's not like I'm a trader anyway, so it doesn't really matter.  Except that when the price really goes high, I'll be able to get a new roof, I hope, LOL.  The sooner the better for that one!

I don't think Evan wants to change Dash in any of those ways.  We like that you can clearly audit the blockchain, but with mixing, you can't follow where the coins came from.

What will happen is coins will go through mixing in the 3rd tier network, the Evolution version, and instantly be mixed through a quorum.  I believe it'll be equal to 10 rounds, and the ip address of the user will not be distinguishable to the first MN in the quorum, because the user is sent to the quorum from an entry point, which obfuscates that information.  And that entry point has no way of knowing what is being sent back to whom.

So in the end, mixing will simply be instant, and better than ever, but look exactly the same as it does now.

Be patience, the price will come with the time. Our progress is the most important thing at this time !
