I'd say my coins are anonymized if I hadn't had to show part of them to everyone... :-p

No more the mysterious wallet amount guy...  Tongue

Now you know what it feels like to be nude all the time, like me.
But one day, ... I will put the camouflage clothes on and disappear... FOREVER!
That's not ALL of them... Just a few of the chunks that got hung up. ;-)

Good, I was a tiny little disappointed with his last dark news podcast... (2 days ago)
but only because my expectations are so damn high these days...

make a backup of your wallet.dat

delete everything in the folder where it was

run latest qt

wait for new chain

close client when new chain full

move backup wallet over the one that the qt just created

launch qt with --salvagewallet option

just doing the --salvagewallet option won't do it. It's probably something in chainstate that needs killed, but it's easier to just wipe the whole folder and MAKE SURE YOUR BACKUP IS NOT IN THERE WHEN YOU WIPE IT!

I have a little bit different issue and it didn't help. My denominate transaction got stuck for 6 hours and --salvagewallet option works strangely. It returns only 500 drk, not my total balance(~623.6). What do?

And here is the result of --salvagewallet

Can somebody help me with my problem?

I don't think the market realises that Drk has functional anonymity now.

They can be excused for thinking there may be problems when looking back over the last 10 pages of this forum where a few users did indeed have some problems that may not be related to darkcoin software at all. Once those issues get solved and explained, folks going to feel more comfortable buying more drk.

Edit: great work propulsion. Now all of Camo's problems are solved and his coins are safe. A happy ending!

Is IP obfuscation through masternodes enabled with RC4? Or is it RC5 material?

Its conceptual at this point - if he's started coding it he hasn't mentioned it to me.  RC5 will most likely seek to a address whatever issues Kristov uncovers (if any) first and foremost. Once the dust from RC4 settles we'll look at laying out a more formal road map.

Initially we planned a pretty heavy PR push for RC4, but as time went on it became clear that it would be premature.  It's also burned us in the past and heavily magnified perfectly normal development setbacks. Look for some formal PR to come out once Evan and co. have had a couple days to iron out any kinks that pop up on mainnet.

glad the coins were recovered. I once sent 17 btc worth of rzrcoin to a riecoin address and it was confirmed on the block chain but I was able to recover it miraculously.

Definitely agree with this approach. Once we stabilise mainnet, pools update and masternodes update to latest version and everyone can get 8 rounds going.

So far so good for RC4 - just a few smaller bugs to iron out!

Then we can go mental on PR Smiley

Yes, the 'problems' mentioned in here would give people a false impression. The average punter isn't able to understand that we're on an a 'Release Candidate' network and code implementation.

Good to hear about Propulsion's recovery of Camo's coins.  But this bit

Now all of Camo's problems are solved...

based on how he was talking about the loss of coins being almost the least of his problems today, perhaps not....
