Thanks for admitting you intentionally lied about HF's ASICs being "non-existent." To any customer of your scamhole the ASICs ARE non-existent. Show me a single satisfied customer of your company using the product you lied about delivering, otherwise I maintain the undeniable fact that they are non-existent. And no: You and your cronies personally benefitting from them doesn't count. Bankruptcy is not the same thing as being "under investigation." Making irrelevant comparisons no one ever implied is not the same thing as making an actual argument. Going out of business is not "criminal behavior." ...said Mark Karpeles before he shut down Mt.Gox and ran with millions of dollars. #REKT Yes it is. Exit-scams are, indeed, criminal behaviour. And you are a criminal no matter how you try to bend it. Do you now expect people to prove their innocence? Once the charges brought against them are proven to be true, yeah, people usually have to do that. Or do you now expect people to believe these court documents are fake? This is the Dash thread, not the 'make up stuff about iCEBREAKER' thread. But I understand it's harder to defend Dash's bad crypto and massive instamine than it is to spread rumors. You are confused. No "exit-scam" has been proven to exist, despite months of bankruptcy proceedings. No "charges" have been brought. The proceeding against Cypherdoc is prima facie ridiculous and going nowhere. Calling the .pdf an "indictment" is another of your characteristic misleading acts of utter dishonesty. Perhaps you are simply too poorly educated to know the actual definition of "indictment." After being caught in a blatant falsehood, you are now moving the goal post from "non-existent ASIC" all the way to "show me one satisfied customer." The ASICs exist. They were was fabricated at TSMC. The inventory of uncut wafers and raw chips held by Uniquify and Signetics were an issue in the bankruptcy. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. If you insist on attacking-the-attacker, do it on the proper subforum. Oh wait, you only get paid to post on Dash topics... Now don't you have a Dash soda machine to redesign, or do you want to use the one that infringes on Coke trademarks?

Question.... shouldn't the system wait until the proposal expires before paying out? IIRC, the end date for the soda budget was Feb 10, 2016... yet it paid today? After only 3 days? I can Imagine a situation where someone proposes a budget, yes votes with their 500 MNs, and it gets paid before anyone has a chance to vote it down... not good... there should be a 30-day minimum or something! What if someone only checks once/week to vote? They totally missed their chance if this gets paid after only being up for 3 days!

Could you please raise this to 30-days? I do NOT like being rushed to vote on something I do not fully understand. I would like time to debate the proposal before being forced to vote on it A prime example is the soda machine... I would like to know who ends up owning this machine that the community is paying for... How much they plan to charge, and what they play to do with any proceeds from soda sales... this is important stuff if you want me to buy you a soda machine... I want to know what you are planning to do with my money... With only 3 days of deliberation, I wont get answers to my questions before the vote is over... Now imagine if I only check once/week... I might not even get 1 day to ask questions... I could have missed the vote entirely

For example, we strive to release budgets at least a week early to allow the network to consider them fully. However, we (the core team) were not behind the soda machine budget at all and it was submitted a total of 3 times, the first time right after our original budget. The first two were incorrect and wouldn't have been paid at all. I can imagine all sorts of situations where last minute alterations are needed, but the community is already well informed about the changes that are happening.

If I'm not mistaken, the proposal was added that late in the game due to an error on the first one. They will be giving the dash to the people so they can try the machine. There is no profit. I certainly would hope those "proceeds" go back to the person who gave out their dash. Even if the machine is tossed in the garbage after the conference, it's still worth every duff in the proposal if it's executed properly.

I feel discussion is necessary, and a 30-day minimum should be implemented for discussion and voting. I don't understand why you would say no... please elaborate

It should remain as flexible as possible. The bylaws would say something to the effect of "Proposal submission deadline for the budget is 7 days before the next payout date, to allow a reasonable amount of time to discuss and debate new entries. " In the case where a person goes against the bylaws, the network would vote them down automatically.

You will notice we even split out every expense, which is how I would like to see with other proposals. There was an active discussion and a high yes voting %. If the proposal didn't meet the yes % votes it would wait for one more month for a 2nd chance before it was dropped. Original proposal: https://www.dashwhale.org/p/Instantx-Soda-MachinRevised with lower amount: https://www.dashwhale.org/p/590-soda-machineThread: https://dashtalk.org/threads/budget-proposal-the-instantx-soda-machine.7408/page-7I think instead of requiring a waiting period we just get the amount of votes needed right. 10% seems too low to me and I would suggest 20% for low budget projects and 30% for higher budget projects. Either way the system is fair. A bad proposal will not get in if has more no votes than 10% of the yes votes(20% yes/11% no).

A proposal has to be on the network for at least 1 day before it qualifies to get paid. This was added to the system to stop that exact situation. Many of us monitor the budget system for the last few right before payment, so it would be impossible for anyone to sneak something in.
That's what "IsEstablished" means
I could have missed the vote entirely That seems like a standard that shouldn't be enforced by the protocol itself just for the sake of flexibility. So you don't think I should have time to debate a proposal before voting on it? You don't care that I don't want to monitor dash 24/7? If I only check once/week, and a budget gets passed after 3 days, there is a 57% chance I did not even have the opportunity to vote, much less ask questions... I feel discussion is necessary, and a 30-day minimum should be implemented for discussion and voting. I don't understand why you would say no... please elaborate We could make changes, but to be honest, I don't view this as an issue from here forward. In a constrained / competitive budget environment, it would be very hard to sneak in at the last minute and get the most votes when most other proposals have had a full week to be considered and voted on. Coming in at the last minute is a serious disadvantage, unless competing projects have a lot of no votes (e.g., are unpopular) and are easy to eclipse, or unless your proposal is amazing enough to get tons of yes votes very quickly. In either case, that's a proposal that probably would pass anyway if given a longer time. Community members that want the best chance at funding need to submit proposals early, unless their idea is so amazing that they think they can garner the support needed quickly. I think that balances incentives to submit early quite well, with the ability to still allow great ideas in at the last minute.

This is Evan's coin and he does whatever the fuck he wants, okay? He instamined the coin, not you. He has enough coins to pass whatever vote he wants regardless of anyone else voting, not you. You don't like it, there's the door! So ungrateful...

No, I mean, that seems like it should belong in our proposal system bylaws. The protocol is a place for stopping exploits.
Fair enough, but I feel like something needs to be tweaked a bit. I have already seen a few votes come and go without a chance to vote on them. I feel like it is over too quickly. For something like a soda machine, which will remain someone's personal property, I feel like discussion is required. I am also skeptical about who is on the receiving end of these expenses... I assume whoever put up that proposal is doing the graphics design, and keep the $400 +$500 travel expenses. How much more of the $2000 are they keeping? These are the types of things I would like time to discuss before voting... but, I also don't want to troll forum(s) 24/7 to make sure I don't miss my chance... I think instead of requiring a waiting period we just get the amount of votes needed right. 10% seems too low to me and I would suggest 20% for low budget projects and 30% for higher budget projects. Either way the system is fair. A bad proposal will not get in if has more no votes than 10% of the yes votes(20% yes/11% no).
Perhaps this will help extend the voting period? I'm not sure of the best solution, but I would appreciate it being looked into, thanks.
