we are growing, come and help mine darkcoin, and get a chance of winning the lottery pool.

once a week 50% of the fees, plus ive added a 100 drk on top, will be drawn,
to one lucky winner... is it your turn next?[/center]

Witdrawal fee: 0.0
Please spread your hashing power, we dont want 1 pool to have >50%

Is it normal that Unconfirmed value has not been updated many hours today on http://drk.lotterymining.com ? I am mining on the both official and lotterymining pools with about the same rate, but since this morning my Unconfirmed is 0 (I am sure there should be at least something today) and Confirmed value also has not been changed. Official pool is working fine for me: values are changed constantly. Yesterday lotterymining worked fine.

Make sure your pool page actually loads next time you decide to advertise it. Tongue

hmm im on a ship with REALLY bad internet connection, and i can get on without problem: drk.lotterymining.com

Has anyone got sgminer working with a 68xx or 6990? Myself and a few others I've talked to by PM have tried for hours getting it to work with no luck... Really annoying not being able to mine one of the most promising coins in a long time! All I get is:

------------------------------------------------------------------
[08:36:44] Started sgminer 4.0.0

[08:37:32] Error -11: Building Program (clBuildProgram)
[08:37:32] Error compiling program for search.

Frontend phase failed compilation.
Error: Creating kernel search failed!

[08:37:32] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0
[08:37:32] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this.
[08:37:32] Try restarting sgminer.
Press enter to continue:
------------------------------------------------------------------

The new CPU miner is great though, getting ~100 kHash/s @ 3570k
Have you tried the 13.9 drivers? I had problems too until I used that driver.
also, my 3570K is pumping out 455 kh/s overclocked slightly @ 4.1.

I'm running catalyst 14.1 Beta drivers (13.350.1005.0) ATM. I'll try 13.9 (if I can find them for 8.1).

Should have mentioned, 100 kh/s/thread = 400 kh/s in total. I only have stock cooler, so I run mine 3.6 GHz@1.05V Smiley
Cool. You may have to try different thread concurrencies until one takes. Some other members were finding better success with lower ones; 3000-3200. It might just be trial and error to get the right combination.

The new Windows CPU miner that elmad created doesn't seem to have increased my hash rate. I just copied the bat file I was using on the old one. Does something else need to be added?

You have to choose the right .exe. There are 4 or 5 different..
And verify you have aes-ni activatade on your cpu.

Also, looking for someone who can create a reddit tip bot for darkcoin subreddit, willing to give out a few coins that I have to the one that gets one going.
I'll put 20 DRK towards that bounty.  Why don't you quantify your offer so the programmer knows what they'll get then add mine and whatever anyone else offers.

If anyone is prepared to explain and setup an Amazon based CPU mining farm for me,
then please let me know. I have an Amazon account and will pay a good bounty in
either BTC or DRK. I'm really keen to learn how to outsource the mining of DRK.

I'm a quick learner and I already have an Amazon S3/E2 account.

Just need a bit of help. I'm willing to pay for your expertise Smiley

Please PM me if you can help out. Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Johnathan

Linux Version has EVEN more HASH !!!  Cool

Just leaving my feedback for elmad's latest cpuminer: impressive.

The minerd-corei7-avx executable boosted my Xeon E3 performance almost 250%. This single-handedly took each core thread from 22 KH/s to 55 KH/s. In practical terms, in spite of the big difficulty rise, I'm still mining and getting a few coins a day.

Also, seconding the idea to enable more community features at darkcoin.io. A forum (easy setup, smf type) and a wiki would be very good.

I need to replace the old minerd in my digital ocean droplet.

Anyone knows the suitable exe for their ubuntu 13-04 droplets? AES-NI generic perhaps?

And a noob question... which is the easiest way to upload local files to a droplet? do I need to setup a FTP server?

EDIT: pool.darkcoin.io and drkpool.com have the same stratum address and port in the help section ¿?
Can use scp.exe in windows to send file to linux.

I confirm that for droplet didnt work.
But with amazon ec2 work great the new version

Using the Windows sgminer on here, this keeps causing my 7990 to spin up and down. It is also hashing at an average of 2.3MH/s whereas my other 7990s (which are located elsewhere so I can't hear them) are doing 3.4MH/s. Any ideas? All use the same version of Windows and AMD drivers.

Hi,
Just createw an ubuntu. You can use the eduf AMI image called : dark_public_miner in N. Virginia. (spot request) There is a tuto on first page also.
Then create this script : vi inst13.sh
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y build-essential m4 libssl-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev git automake libcurl4-openssl-dev

git clone https://github.com/elmad/darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes

cd darkcoin-cpuminer-1.3-avx-aes

chmod a+x autogen.sh

./autogen.sh

./configure CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native"

make

_____________
chmod u+x inst13.sh
./inst13.sh

That's all folk

Thanks. I'm trying on an old Pentium D 920. It's 64 bit and using the Intel processor utility, I can see that it's sse2 and sse3 capable but aes-ni says no. Is that something I can enable in bios or am I just out of luck?

Aaaaand... another 10% of daily profit goes to Elmad. Keep on the good work!

I call upon CPU miners to support this incentive of Elmad's work! Let the CPUs rule! We have at least 50-100% of potential performance gain.

Thanks Smiley

I am working on it, I hope that soon I'll post some good news.

It would be interesting if a Amazon GPU mining farm is working with the darkcoin gpu miner and if it's profitable.

I've been playing with it all night - and I'm a little tired Tongue

Yes, I have had no problems getting it to run using Ubuntu 13.10, but I'm working out how to create an image and clone an instance to make the whole thing work faster.

There are a number of setup steps that I wrote some simple scripts for, and cloning would be the next step to make this run even faster. I'd say about 5 minutes per instance setup...
