OK, so this is what I'm talking about.......

I have 72 cores working for around 14 hours staight. My reward for this is 50 coins. Surely there is something wrong here.....
This below is from my workers screen on http://pool.darkcoin.io/index.php?page=dashboard :-
Khash/s Difficulty

   196    1.00

   252    1.00

Can you point out what CPU's do you use?

currently running 3 azure trials (60 cores) and server at home with 2X  Xeon quad 2.33 and a laptop with i3 m370 2.4ghz (i think that quad core as it runs 4 threads??)

Honest Tim. How did you get 3 trials? Did you use credit cards from 2 other members of your family? or 3 of your own? What about the address you put down, is the free trial only one per household? Please let me know so I can do it also. lol  Thanks!

DRK go! Go! GO! Price will be equal litecoin price!

Please lets not start that just yet. We are currently in baby stages.
Exactly. We should all keep in mind that it still might turn out to be impossible to reach the goal of anonymity. However, me personally think that the other elements of this coin are worthwhile, but perhaps not of the Litecoin amplitude...

family members. I have heard that it all revolves around the card. IP / phone used to verify etc don't matter. I've heard you're allowed 2 trials per card but I am uncertain whether these can run concurrently. I found a thread where one guy got completely banned because he did this, whereas if he simply ran his trial to completion and then setup another he could have had a solid 8 days of serious (relative I know, but I'm talking CPU for the average Joe) hashing with 20 cores for free. Instead he ended up with nothing and being completely banned. I'm not risking it myself, but as soon as one ends, the other will begin. If I KNEW it was safe to run them concurrently I would have already done it.

Family members haven't had any phone calls from Microsoft? Read some people mining doge with azure trials have had calls from them, apparently they didn't care that they were using them to mine though.  I've just told my girlfriend to say shes using them to mine.

Can someone please explain the differences between Darkcoin and Anoncoin?

Anon coin is only for the tor network. Darkcoin should be anonymous on the internet full stop ('period' for my american friends)

Ok thanks, does Darkcoin use Zerocoin or is it separate from that?

DRK go! Go! GO! Price will be equal litecoin price!

Please lets not start that just yet. We are currently in baby stages.
If the anonymous technology is delivered in a reasonable time frame, I fully expect this coin to exceed Litecoin. Litecoin is just the original clone. No functionality expansion, apart from being temporarily asic proof. A truly anonymous coin however, has incredible potential.

I think most coins with many hashes will, in the long run, prove much more safe than both Bit and Lite. It is too much to wake up one morning and have all your money gone because one hash was broken - and that one hash was your coin's hash.

Ideal specs for coin are, as far as I'm concerned,

a) many secure hashes
b) anonymous if possible
c) quick transactions but not bloated blockchain
d) asic and quantum computing resistant
e) limited quantity vs infinite

edit: On the (b) I would also add anonymous that resists advanced AI-pattern detection/analysis.

DRK go! Go!

I agree 100%
Don't count your chickens before they hatch, though.

I would call it "Darkcoin" Technology.

Why?

1. We all know other alts are going to steal the technology. Well, if Darkcoin brands its technology with its own name and establishes itself, by calling the technology Darkcoin technology all the other coins will be forced to Acknowledge DarkCoin.!!! Heck by stealing from us, the other alts will be giving us free advertising and adding legitimacy to Darkcoin!! We will have them over a barrel.. Roll Eyes

Agreed. Keep it simple, and make sure that this coin is the key to the word, anyone copying it after that will just look bad. My vote goes to Darktech
[/quote]

I'll change my vote to this as well Smiley

VirWox.com USD to BTC cost me nearly 13% on commissions and total loss of over 17.5% because of exchange difference PLUS a 2 day wait for my coins!!

DITTO

See what anoncoin did. Now translate that to the other 99.999% of the web.
But all the points that people are raising are delightfully valid.
especially with the global agenda becoming more and more obvious to the deepest of sleepers.

FFS!! http://pool.darkcoin.io must be getting hammered by some ****ers. Anyone else getting constantly booted off???

I like darktech but should spell it darktek

Earlier I meant I like Darkcoin Technology.  It's not slick, but it gives credit where it's due.
