Yeah id throw in if there was a bounty to get the whitepaper professionally translated to other languages specifically mandarin. Can find someone on elance.com
We should really get on this. It's a tiny cost compared to the awareness that it will raise.

Hi, i'm new here. Is it safe to transfer Darkcoins to a Paperwallet address? The price goes up and up and i don't know if paperwallets are working with all these wallet updates? Can anyone lead me to a sure paperwallet?

Great question and was thinking about this today.

There is a wallet generator here -> http://paper.darkcoin.io/

BUT, I don't know if it is OK. There is no link to the wallet on the site, so maybe they wanted it not to be used.

Test a few first with small amounts.  Generate some addresses and send funds to them, check the blockchain, import them back into your existing wallet, etc...  It will make you more comfortable with the process as well as verify you're doing it correctly.  I don't believe any changes to the functioning of the wallet via darksend, etc... has any impact on wallet address creation.  That has not been messed with.

Can you see in the darkcoin explorer if the coins are on the paperwallet? Or is the blockchain totally unreadable?

I am kind of with you
but at the same time they probably know already anyway
hope they do NOT mess up the whole market as they did with BTC

gonna be interesting to see if they actually will get on it
as it is still hard for them (in the mainland) to get onto
exchanges and actually buy any coins !

Of course you can, just check the address on the blockchain to see your balance.

Green crocodile bots and red crocodile bots acting nicely as price stabilisers on the Darkcycle.

Maybe the powers that be have taken pity on the daytrading chartwitches?

Or maybe they are tormenting them, as they cannot progress to Chapter 4 of the bestselling, "Rape Yourself! Daytrading For The Fuller Figure" manual:

this is surprise good news, I thought they pulled everything related to crypto currencies from the store, even those apps that were only indirectly related. I suppose even apple isn't powerful enough to resist the inevitable end of fiat currency.

there are a bunch of bitcoin related apps to get
but i believe this is the only one for DRK

Da fuq? 10 minutes later it's back to normal. If that's real I'm guessing it's some goldman sachs esque entity doing accounting tricks.

It actually used to be that high and took the 2nd place spot before it was adjusted.

Definitely a pull of todays page, dark coin is #7 on the larger screenshot.

I'm not disagreeing with you that it was taken today, I'm simply saying whatever method they used to correctly value it fubared briefly and you captured it. If you look back from the archive, you'll see it maintained the second spot for a while till it was changed.

That sort of thing happens on coinmarketcap from time to time.  Valuations get all screwey for a few minutes and go back to normal.  I always took it for a bug.

I just tortured myself by looking over my trades at c-cex from back in the day (Feb). I wish I had been bolder and bought more! Anyway maybe this can be shown as just one person's evidence of distribution of the early mined coins. I wasn't even in there at the start of trading. There were multi BTC orders going through for days while you could get more than 10k DRK for 1 BTC.
