Da fuq? 10 minutes later it's back to normal. If that's real I'm guessing it's some goldman sachs esque entity doing accounting tricks.

It's because you filtered it by "total supply", not "available supply".

What advantage does sharing the profit give? Why not just have lower fees?

I just tortured myself by looking over my trades at c-cex from back in the day (Feb). I wish I had been bolder and bought more! Anyway maybe this can be shown as just one person's evidence of distribution of the early mined coins. I wasn't even in there at the start of trading. There were multi BTC orders going through for days while you could get more than 10k DRK for 1 BTC.

Wait. WTF. Uh.....So...are those all buys? Are you #1 rich list?

Well... this time SEPA transfers worked in my favor. Sent Friday before closing and arrived Yesterday at Kraken.

Just in time to buy me another masternode!! I knew before sleep it would fall a little, but I bought in right there and then about 2h after Evan announced final patch for the Masternode payouts on the 25th. NOMP ready, p2pool also in the patching.

So basically I did the math, and either

a) get a masternode at correction prices, be happy even if price plummets, like a big fat whale slipped on a banana. Not be greedy thinking I could snatch MORE MORE MORE MORE for LES LESS LESS and SELL HIGH and BUY low... no! Thats not me. To get high I sometimes smoke a joint. No psychotic day trading.

b) sleep uneasy, price could drop a little, probably and gain me an extra 100 DRKs, but it could also go stupid high because... well last weekend it more than doubled. 1 node was 1200 USD, ... 1 node now is 6.650 USD... Cannot imagine next week when Darksend can actually sends "dark-worthy" amounts!

It will not break 0.014 ! So do the math an see it that cares in the long run !!

looks like some guys cash out to buy som MRO. Already half the price of DRK with a very strong rise within last 24h.
Could be a hard landing for people want to make a quick profit and sell DRK to go in.

There's a lot false marketing going on Twitter to herd people to buy into MRO: "Second generation anonymous", "Darksend" etc.

What people need to realise, that there is a difference between a fork of 2 year old Bytecoin (MRO) and a freshly developed and constantly improved coin with at least 2y development plan.

Would I trust a clone without a known developer and track record of what is going on, how to develop the tech etc.? Trading fine, long term no (not yet at least).

So my money are on DRK.

That's why buying MRO now is a trading fault at the moment. I tried to buy MRO yesterday and I had almost nothing with these high prices...
The market cap is already a few millions one day after first exchange...MRO was a coin for experimented miners not for even early investors :
- No pools until a few days, no GUI.
- It would be very diffcult to make 10X. Miners will enjoy their ride now, but noone else after.

Everyone could buy DRK for weeks at very low price (I started @ 0.000064) and friends of mine had enough time to buy what they want, and made easily 100X.

I totally agree with people saying MRO is very badly distributed. MRO was a coin for experimented miners, and everything possible was made to stay a coin for miners.  They are consequently claiming to have hero members by the way...

I did the math by address with 1000 or greater balances, rounded down and assuming none of the addresses below 1000 pick up more to get a node (there were some fractions of a DRK from 1000) and all of them decided to run masternodes, the total amount would be 686 masternodes.

So your basic formula at max diff and min reward of 5 drk/block, you'd be looking at 576 blocks * 5 drk/block = 2880 drk daily * 10% masternode reward = 288 drk / 686 mn = 0.419825 drk/node/day. At the current price of $6.75, you're looking at $2.83/day per masternode or around $85/month. Again, a lot of assumptions here. Still not bad considering you can rent a server for less than $8-$10/month.

There will probably be more, as for example my DRK is split in 4 separate addresses, none of them more than 1000. But I could put them together to create couple of master nodes, if I want to.

I think probably less, not everyone holding 1k+ is going to setup a MN.

Indeed.

Re the calculation, if all these addresses decided to set up a masternode that make 686000 DRK taken out of circulation which makes less coins available to buy, which in turn will up the price. I was making some provisional calculations and came to a conclusion that at 1000 MN there we would be looking at around $10-12 per DRK and around 0.288 DRK a day for masternode operators.
