I think you are right on this. Still, it is so sad.

The really sad thing IMO is selling for LTC.  

That is just plain depressing.

Ltc coin supply: 10.5 Million Ltcs next 12 months. No privacy of any kind whatsoever.

Drk coin supply: 1.05 Million Drks next 12 months. Decentralised automatic coinjoin privacy. Plus ability to setup a Masternode if you have 1000 Darks, to earn more Darkcoins (currently 50% ROI). No electricity to run Masternode. About $5 per month in server running cost.

If you even think for a moment that people want privacy in cryptographic transactions, Drk is the clear winner.

The selling is normal and healthy, we don't want DRK to run up to far to fast, that is not sustainable. I am glad to see the trolls out again in force, the skepticism is good. If everyone is bullish there are no buyers left.

Also, I expect to see rotation out of LTC into DRK. that is a process that will take days not hours.

The only thing I will add to this is that some are in it for the up and down trades to make some money on the action. I am ok with that, but it isn't for the weak of heart or for anyone who can't really sit and watch a screen all day. Just my take...

I am in it for what I believe are the long term advance that even a moderate amount of privacy will have once the broader market appreciates the additional service with no other additional effort really on their part to trade DRK vs any other crypto.

Today was as others have pointed out an 'all-time' high in $ value, so it is no surprise that some are taking their profits in some way and maybe exiting as happy campers as well. More power to them as well, as long as they are happy with their returns.

No ill will, and I have great faith that the coin will rebound shortly, because those who this is their total business like bitfinex.com have decided there is a great future as well, and they clearly haven't made that leap with any other coins that have advanced to the upper levels of market cap as well.

This coin has something that others will not understand other than to try and copy it for the financial success, but it is far deeper than that. You have to want and believe in anonymous transactions to understand why it is important. Is it perfect? Maybe not, but it is a great leap forward.

In my view darkcoin's anonymity tech is good enough, especially once I compared it to the others. This was clear to me back in early 2014. Fundamentally, an anonymous coin needs decentralised coinmixing. Zerocash kept getting pushed back and then realisation hit me that you can't prove no premine on an unreadable blockchain. I didn't see ring sigs until recently but my understanding is that it has massive bloat.

Is Drk the perfect anonymity implementation? Probably not, but it is very close to perfect and more importantly it is good enough with room to improve. The first mover advantage will accrue to the good enough coin. Just like bitcoin was not the perfect implementation of cryptocurrency.  But it was good enough.

Nxt,Peercoin,Ripple,Namecoin,Mastercoin,blah blah blah All have weak volume and in my eyes look like poor investments because of that unless someone can explain why theres a solid reason their marketcap value is a fair estimate of  their true value. Nxt and Ripple seem the most interesting but if nobody uses or trades them whats the point xD.

NXT. Check that shit out now and thank me in two months. If there is a challenger for the 2nd spot, its them. No question about it.
