No. Tongue

I've been wondering about this too.

How do you prevent rouges setting up hundreds of nodes that collect data about transactions, without a financial barrier to disrupt the network and create many men in the middle sniffing transactions as they pass around ?

Yea, that's why DRK's masternodes are not an ideal solution... because it is a centralized solution.

Exactly. And who are these node operators ? I'm sure it was nothing for them to give up a couple 500 DRK blocks for the buy in.

You may as well be riding a gator's back across the river.

Are they really making 1 BTC per week ?

Dude, no... you're embarrassing yourself here...

If that was even possible, you could create infinite Darkcoins by setting up two masternodes, getting this 500 DRK block you're talking about twice, and setting up more masternodes. Then the currency would be effectively worthless == no profit for anyone.  Roll Eyes

Anyone can set up a masternode. All you need is 1,000 DRK which is currently only about $5,940.00 USD. That's a very LOW entry cost that a lot of individuals can easily afford.

Just stop...

Anyone saying that DRK fucks the miners is a degenerate (entitlement complex, pure scum). Miners are useful, to an extent. That doesn't mean that they are owed the world.
Exactly. People should keep quoting this post on every page.
Miners are not everything that there is. It is your decision if you want to mine or not. If you don't like supporting a network (with 20% donation/cut in this case), then do not mine DRK and do not complain.
Just go to some other coin.

No, you can't set up many rogues MNs. Exactly how do you plan on getting 100k DRK to have 100 nodes?
Please tell me where I can buy so much DRK.  Wink

Oh, wow!!! Wonder why his Trust score is showing as zero with all those red marks? It should be in the red/negative.

Also note that every single trust rating/feedback he's ever given to someone is negative... tells you a lot about his personality...

Wrong, all you need is a lot of notes. Its no secret that some guys have 50+ or in the case of the dev hundreds of masternodes. The more nodes you have the faster you can set up another one. As you get more and more notes time needed to get another note gets shorter with every masternote, this only accelerates until totally centralized.
Having 1 or 2 notes gets you nowhere. Why would you spent 6K USD when some other guy puts his feet up and does nothing for a little while and got his note for free.

This is the eve-of-battle.

RC4 is almost upon us and we prepare to liberate the world, not to conquer.

We will not fly our flags in each country. We are entering the world stage to free the people and the only flag which will be flown in all their lands is their own.

Show respect for them.

There are some who are hodlers at this moment who will sell shortly.

Those who do not wish to go on this journey, we will not send.

As for the others, I expect you to rock the world. Wipe out Litecoin if that is what they choose.

But if you are ferocious in battle remember to be magnanimous in victory.

Bitcoin is steeped in history. It is the site of the Crypto Garden of Eden and the birthplace of Satoshi.

Tread lightly there.

You will see things that no man could pay to see - and you will have to go a long way to find a more decent, generous and upright people than the Litecoiners.

You will be embarrassed by their hospitality even though they have nothing.

Don't treat them as refugees for they are in their own little world.

Their children will be poor, in years to come they will know that the light of liberation in their lives was brought by you.

If there are casualties of crypto war then remember that when they woke up and got dressed in the morning they did not plan to lose everything on the day of RC4.

Allow them dignity in death.

Bury them properly and mark their graves.

It is our foremost intention to bring every single one of you out rich.

But there may be people among us who will not see the end of this campaign. We will mark their contributions, but

There will be no time for sorrow.

The Litecoin should be in no doubt that we are his nemesis and that we are bringing about his rightful destruction.

There are many regional Darkcoiners who have stains on their souls and they are stoking the fires of hell for Charlie Lee.

He and his forces will be destroyed by this coalition for what they have done to miners.

As they lose everything they will know their deeds have brought them to this place. Show them no pity.

It is a big step to take another Coins life. It is not to be done lightly.

I know of men who have trolled needlessly in other threads. I can assure you they live with the mark of Cain upon them.

If someone surrenders to you then remember they have that right. Show them some help with setting up Master Nodes, and bat files. Ensure that one day they go home to their family rich.

The ones who wish to fight, well, we aim to please.

If you harm the DarkCoin or its history by over-enthusiasm in trolling, know it is your family who will suffer. You will be shunned unless your conduct is of the highest - for your deeds will follow you down through history. As their transactions will forever echo through eternity.

We will bring shame on neither our Coin or our Devs.

It is not a question of if, it's a question of when.

If we survive the first RC4 strike we will survive the attack. We will win the battle and the war.

As for ourselves, let's bring everyone home rich and leave Crypto a better place for us having been there.

Our business now is North; to the moon.

This coin has been around since January and still they cant get a working decentralized anon feature. Anyone putting money into drk now is just helping the early adopters and the devs who premined the shit out of this coin to get out, and guess who's going to be left holding the bag..

****** PLEASE UPDATE TO 9.12.7 OR 10.12.7 *******

- Added a smart input splitting method. Place 1000+DRK into a brand new wallet and it will be split into many inputs compatible with Darksend

Getting closer every day to a stable release with some great features.

ha ha.

You sold your eCash, when you should have hodl your eCash.

To avoid any confusion : Those versions are required only if you are helping the dev team to test RC4. The current versions are still 9.11.6 and 10.11.6.

I simply commented on the fact that you have a lot of negative trust ratings and all of the trust/feedback you've given to other people are negative... that IS true. Proof? Click on "Trust" below your username...

Shit, how did I get scammed into buying Cloak.

It takes a long time to develop a system that avoids man in the middle attacks.

Cloak has been out for 5 minutes, and it has many men in the middle.

If you buy Cloak, you are evidently very generous to those who happily accept the coins you give them.
