Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Nice work! Only a couple of very minor suggestions:

- Add a link to Block Explorer 2 mirror: http://explorer.darkcoin.qa/chain/Darkcoin
- Minor grammatical fixes: "Darkcoin" instead of "DarkCoin" in the thread title; "Darksend" instead of "DarkSend" in Downloads.

Cool, didn't catch those, thanks.  Seeing several other things now that I'm not staring at it on a google doc  Cheesy

They'd rather fap. Oh well.
Yeah, we totally fap to an animated gif.

I do use whiners' tears for lube when I buy their DRKs tho. I'd fap to an animation of you clicking sell...

Apparently, I've made the wrong choices in my life, deciding to have a career that I actually enjoy, and it is clear that I am unwelcome here. Good luck to all of you with Darkcoin. It's a solid coin. It's just too bad the community views anyone who is not anti-establishment as somehow lesser than them and unworthy.

Hopefully that can be overcome. If not, this coin will be doomed to a small niche, and forever stuck hovering around .01.

Ah, ignore, how I love thee. Let me count the names... Nah. Then I'd have to look at them.

Cattle gonna graze. What I say and do here is surely going to put a stop to Evan's greatness... Especially since it only shows how much awesome has been attracted by even more awesome. Yeah, terrible... We should all be mediocre and grey...

People who come to bitcointalk for investment research are gonna have a bad time. This place sucks. Always has. Get over it. There's a reason I never made an account over at darkcointalk, derp. Figure it out, meatbag.

Normal is the word stupid losers use to make themselves feel good about being stupid losers. They think they're insulting someone and that makes them feel good about themselves.

Whatever. Sell me your DRKs and keep paying interest on crap you can't actually afford. Way to fit in (with a crowd of dumb animals)! You're so normal!

cryptozim, the best place for serious talks regarding darkcoin is darkcointalk, here, not so much, trolls have destroyed that part a long time ago.

I am happy - because once RC4 is released, Kristov gives the OK and the merchant adoption drive commences - this thing is going to fucking explode Smiley

I give no fark about price because of day traders or multi pool dumpers Smiley

at first this was overbought because of the news but now people oversell. There will be a pump pretty soon.

Just don't be stupid and sell now. How it goes on after the pump is a diffrent story.
But after the RC4 (working!) realease the thing is going freak everybody out.

I posted a while back with some charts that showed a common descending triangle after a large run up and then showed how Bitcoin had followed the same pattern and how Darkcoin was also following it. For anyone interested, here is an update. As you will see below, it is still following it quite nicely and is in the final stage before it breaks through the descending triangle and begins another move up. In my previous post, I mentioned how this pattern historically has ~70% chance of breaking out in the direction of the original move, which in this case is upwards. In my experience, when the pattern gets to this stage without diverging, there is a very low likely hood that it breaks through the descending triangle to the downside.

I know some investors have been upset that the recent developments have not sparked another surge of buying. I also believe (without any substantial evidence) that most people that are upset have also not traded equities, options or forex in any substantial amounts. If this is the case, and the last statement applies to you, I beg you to relax. Good things take time and we do not want to rush this. We want common technical patterns to continue to form in Darkcoin and we do not want massive volatility. This would in fact hinder long term adoption by merchants which is the key to sustained growth, and instead would only attract more short term traders who will perpetuate this cycle.

I have 1 6950 rig as well that did not get a performance boost from 14.6 + the tweaked miner, As my other rigs are 7950 based and these got a nice boost it seem the pre 79xx driver is unchanged .

yeah only the new card gets the boost, I have been on the 4.2MH/s 280x djm miner since june 20, all you need is the new bin file people posted, I am still on 13.12 driver, the optimization is in the new opencl compiler, not in the driver itself.

As usual trolls are desparate trying to find something, anything that they think can be used...

we are donating to make sure someone is using their time reviewing the code, so if there are problems they can be fixed, before darksend is being opensourced, its quite simple actually...

but alas trolls, will be trolls....

2 guys drive by a porsche, driver says, wow, thats a nice red porsche, the other guy says, no no, it was black..
so the driver turn the car around, drives back to the porsche, points at it and says, see, its red..
the other guy answers, this is not the same car....

morale, they dont care even if proof is in front of them, they just want confrontation....

 Cheesy +7
They have right to be idiot.

This is the best project in crypto----DarkCoin. Time will tell and don't blame you miss it.

I just wanna be able to read this thread while I'm at work.

And your wants take precendence over other peoples because..... ?

Wow okay. Guess you can't keep your porn on the 100000 other sites. Fuck man, don't be a dick.

How about you work at work

There are a lot of small breaks when you can browse the net, go get coffee, go read a newspaper, etc during a work day. That's normal, it's even in the law that you must have breaks at least in the country where I live in.

When I browse the web at work and and a pic that I wouldn't like everyone to see comes up I just quickly scroll past it. Smiley  You don't have to stop staring at it, you can do that when you get back home. Smiley  This method has been very effective for me.
