Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Looks like the DRK/USD trading pair over at Bitfinex is becoming more popular over time. There is some real volume happening there (it's now the #3 DRK exchange). So if one wants to buy or sell vs. fiat, Darkcoin is now the only anonymity coin that legitimately can claim to offer that to the market. I checked all the other anonymity-focused coins and none of them has even miniscule USD markets. Not to mention that the CNY pairing has come a long way as well. All told, 11% of trades are now in fiat.

right guys, we almost out of 0.01 just like i told you all for the past week. Multipool drk dumps will happen for next two days. We are going into 0.009 or lower, please do not panic this is only temporary but will happen, until code is reviewed which will be sometime next week.  Kiss

Or counter the other multipool dumps by mining with the DRK multipool, we'll buy up the dumpers, but need more mining support!

Cheers!

Nice Pool, Smooth and quick.
Just join in with some scrypt hash power.

This is the best project in crypto----DarkCoin. Time will tell and don't blame you miss it.

what does that x 500 (--xintensity 500) precisely do ? i dont feel like blowing up my graphic card just to find out... Smiley

Increases the intensity, which, in other words, is about increasing the workload processed by the card. The card won't blow up as it does 1-2-3% difference.

thanks.. i tried the --xintensity 500 option but could not get extra hashpower with it .. and your right, it didnt blow up my card Smiley
i'm keeping my current batch configuration.

edit : and thanks all who replied to my question.
edit : changed ''but could get extra hashpower'' into ''but could not get extra hashpower''

You can try other values too... like 200-300-400-600-700-800-900 and see if any works for you. My cards liked 400 and 800 but they weren't 280s (series 5xxx and 6xxx).

Fix the absence of commas for people who have fat stacks. I hate trying to read 7 and 8 digits with a lack of commas every 3, like there is supposed to be. I've mentioned this before. It's an ugly oversight for anything dealing with numbers... You also haven't fixed the forced download of every logo... d/l on demand. No reason to hog 16MB of space on a truckload of coin logos I will never use...

These are easy fixes. Quit goofing around or the app gets deleted.

did we just do a busted triple bottom? or is this a recoil for the break. will the 92 btc take us beyond 0.012 - 13 or are they waiting on an imminent dump?

+1 on xpool. Tried it and loved it !! Just have to get used to shifts thing if you've never done it before. Its great! It works. It rocks! Does wonders for DRK.

Keep up the great work guys

Oh, do you have to keep an eye on the shifts?  I mean, I'm really getting close to a payout at slush's pool, and want to switch to xpool so I never have to think about it again, LOL.  Also, I'm hoping that I can do a little better with someone managing my hash, LOL.  But I don't think I'll be able to be "on top of it" if we have to manually switch when there is a shift to another coin?

It's all automated. The pool chooses which coin get mined and everyone's hash is automatically transitioned, without interruption, to the next coin. Those coins are then exchanged automatically and the BTC/LTC proceeds are then used to buy up DRK, then your are sent your share of DRK that is relative to the % you contributed.

You do have to give it some time to "ramp" up and get a solid spread of shares. You only get paid for blocks you've contributed to and have matured. So if the pool finds blocks during your shift, you may not actually received the DRK for those coins until the next shift if the block hasn't matured before the end of the shift.

That being said... someone on the darkcointalk board was happy to see when they had to move and turn off all their miners, they actually still earned dark on the 2 days they were moving because some of the share they had contributed to, didn't get confirmed for a couple days. That includes if you mined on a coin and no block was found, it all carries over.

Cheers!

Thank you very much.  I can't wait to move over, but until I get a payout at slush's pool, I'm all tied up Sad  Sorry it took me so long to thank you, hope you see it Smiley

TanteS you just point your miners at xpool and you dont need to do anything else. They think about everything. There are 3 algos and the shifts mean every algo has its time but all algos mine 24/24... After all btc earned change name through exchange on drk Smiley which goes on every miners drk address Smiley thats all so simple.
Thanks splawik21, got it Cheesy

check this site : it has pretty much every sgminer version up to v5 (most current)

https://nicehash.com/software/#sgminer

for more info about sgminer v5 check this site :

My advice is to try sgminer v5 with latest AMD driver beta, see if that runs stable on your system.
Latest AMD driver so far i know is 14.7 RC1 (Windows 8.1 mandatory)

Thanks for updating the first page, looks a lot better then how it looked a few weeks ago.
Currently it looks far more organised in my opinion.

i honestly cant say, some have stable faster results with 14.6 / 14.7 beta while others couldnt get it stable and reverted back 14.4 running with special bins to get the higher
hash rates. My advice is to try latest AMD beta 14.7 RC1, check if it runs stable .. if not keep the generated bin from 14.7 and revert back
to 14.4
