It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

we dont need people pumping anything right now,  we calm a quite while the code is perfected.  im just in here cause i have nothing better to do as im in the airport waiting for my flight.  2 Failed forks?  thats a big deal... wow... i should  make sure to throw the towel in on my multi million dollar winery  the next time a batch if wine or cider goes south in our cellars.  looking at my own example there were lots if mistakes... those first years were tough as we got our systems down.  buy you stick to it... work the kinks out and move forward. I'm self made millionaire not because of what i did right but because of what i did wrong and how i dealt with that to make it right.

I haven't heard that xpool is cheating anyone, and I certainly see the value in having all that managed for you if you don't want to deal with exchanges, etc...  I see no reason to bad mouth them or judging those who want to use them.  So it's not for you, that's why there is choice.  You have many choices, but your favorite choice isn't going to be everyone's favorite choice.

Can somebody please drop in the DRKtalk...../RC4  testing link.
I can only access it from a link where I am right not due to filters.
The main page is blocked but I can get to that page.

Apparently, I've made the wrong choices in my life, deciding to have a career that I actually enjoy, and it is clear that I am unwelcome here. Good luck to all of you with Darkcoin. It's a solid coin. It's just too bad the community views anyone who is not anti-establishment as somehow lesser than them and unworthy.

Hopefully that can be overcome. If not, this coin will be doomed to a small niche, and forever stuck hovering around .01.

how many people do you put into this "community" of yours.. cause I'm not in it.. and I am in the DRK community.. so..

are you a racist aswell?

Take it easy. While there are certainly different views on how people think they should live, everyone is different and has different ideals and different conceptions of what the "good life" is. Just be respectful to everyone, not only in the darkcoin community, but in general, as views on lifestyle are entirely subjective.

With that said, can we please get back on topic. I personally don't care how anyone lives there life on here, lets just get back to darkcoin and development/TA/darkcoin related issues.

People recurrently voicing their political views are also among the most active. This is not surprising, no responsibility, no job, no real-life community involment = plenty of time to publish rants on the internet and desperately beg for some recognition with classic passive-aggressive attitude, but they do not represent the "community" in any way.
Let's stick with DRK.

For those saying drkcoinz is dedz or people who don't follow this monster thread.

DRK is on the cusp of being the best thing since bitcoin.

----------

So we have the darksend+ in RC4 in testing

Darksend+ pre-privatises your coins so you can use them as you normally would - ie. Darksend+ makes darkcoin ready for the world.

Proper adoption can begin in ernest. Beyond crypto land.

This will be vetted by Kristov Atlas - so actually vetted as opposed to other coins claiming "anon - promise!"

--------------

And with that comes the becoming more pro and ready for the world developments:

We are getting electrum wallets - regenerate your wallets from a seed phrase.

Just keeping everyone up to date with Darkcointalk. Super exciting all the time!!!!

Quote from Tante:
Quote
"Also, one of the exciting opportunities that Masternodes provide, is that they can host the blockchain, decentralized, for lightweight users. I hope this feature happens soon. So only the masternodes, mining nodes and people who want to have a copy of the blockchain ever need have it. And yet it will still be stored in a decentralized fashion."

More Info:

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-drk-electrum-server.1648/page-2
http://electrum-drk.org/

-------------------

Separately we are getting an upgrade to look and functionality of the QT wallets

Wow, this one (#3 with a couple suggestions that Raze implemented) is SEXY!

-----------------------

Also of interest:

xpool.ca multi pool where you can mine with X11, Scrypt or your old sha256 asics and get payed in DRK!

darkbids.com ebay for darkcoin. Sell stuff for darkcoin, buy stuff for darkcoin

-----------------------

And lastly we've consistently had the highest volume on mintpal and cryptsy for quite a while now.

So in short..

RC4 is coming be ready!!
