Who hyped RC4? We didn't even know when it was going to launch. Evan ninjaed us again.

For the past month when ever the price dipped people have been saying wait until rc4, get in before rc4, rc4 then to the moon.

I think you can find that crap in every thread before a new update is released... They just don't do much updating... 2 or 3 and then they're abandoned by the short attention span copy pasters who have no plans of their own...

If it was manipulation I'd think he'd place the wall just in sight on the orderbook and pull it if buys got close. 10k DRK were posted, and 5k were bought. The remaining 5k are still up so the person/entity is trying to sell them. Probably someone who was counting on an RC4 pump and is now not willing to hold them.

I understand where they are coming from (if the aforementioned is the reason). Sometimes you just need the money, but I'm not going to complain as the price drop allowed me enough for another node, which I didn't think I'd be able to get.

Or just everyone switch to p2pool. I don't get it, why people do not see the benefits. You mine more (like 102-110 % effectiveness ), you mine to your wallet, no hassle if one of the nodes goes down, just skip to other one in the p2pool network.
And it's decentralized and trust less.

The natural steps forward now imo (in addition to Evan working on the core) would be to

1) set up bounties for the best ideas to make the wallet as simple as possible for average users to use (DRKLord or his team can then implement them in the new wallet design), this simplification has to include the anonymization rounds and transactions and fees regarding the denomination process, making it impossible for the user to not understand what is happening at any given time, and make it impossible to do anything to screw it up

2) after open sourcing, start marketing to retailers who appreciate privacy


I think a moderated thread should be started for 1) in the Alternate cryptocurrencies forum.

Well for one I think the 'Darksend Enabled' option needs to be a button in the wallet UI. Like a red/green switch with a text status indicator below it on the progress of what's being done.

Such as:

Searching for Masternode...
Masternode found...
Connected to Masternode (IP HERE)...
Starting denomination...
-0.001 DRK removed for _____.

I think it would go a long way to soothing peoples concerns when they don't see their coins denominating, they start to get antsy. If they could see in the UI what is specifically occurring I think they would be satisfied.

Agree... but this revision is more for fundamentals that enhanced user interface. I'm sure DRKlord is working on such magic as we speak.

Summer is also bad for other markets as there are a lot of people are on holiday and not sitting if front of the comptuer.

There is no fresh money coming into the market and nature of crypto through its dayly inflation that it needs money to
stay on same level. It´s over ... I stay with drk until the end, but i have to register that i lost 5k€

I do only own 1 MN, but what happs if people like coinzx3 cash out ? I think they won´t to switch to another project but it could
happed they do so because of crypto itself. All alt coins are nearly dead, LTC is dead BTC is in trouble and mintpal comes up with
supporting a new coin on launch where you can buy in ( next scam ). For me it looks like that such things are the end of crypto.
