Guys, why has the price gone so low?

No one knows except the person who is trying to sell so many.
Maybe some people bought up dark to try and ruin its price by dumping or maybe its an early big holder who needs out and isn't very smart at doing so.

Seems they are trying to push people to sell to their low buy orders. So far they are successful.

Probably correct, oh well.

Guys, why has the price gone so low?

More people are selling than buying and someone just dumped down to 0.00607502.

Just wait for RC4 then the price will rise.  Oh wait...

qwizzie bro i know that but understand that there is guys here that dont understand that... example MY BROTHER was like what? fee? isnt that automaticly ?

you see... we must deal with this normal way... so we need to put this somewhere for anyone to see
You are right about this.

I would say right now the tech works for 95% of users, but the ease of use and ease of understand is still poor. I assume this is the next step for the team.
This is a huge and mandatory step for Darkcoin, new and non-technical users will - at this point - most likely have no clue what's happening and why it's happening. I believe DRKLord was taking care of the wallet and the GUI, anyone knows what the progress is and when this will get implemented in a new milestone, RC5 perhaps?

Anyways.. While Darkcoin is still being heavilly developed, it's probably a matter of time before the wallet gets a major overhaul making both visuals and usability top notch!

Big KUDOS to Evan and his team, keep it up! Smiley

So, price increasing = natural growth but price decreasing = manipulation, lol  Cheesy

And if it is, how exactly do I get rid of that message?

Yikes, I could tell you exactly on Linux or Mac but I haven't used Windows in some time. If I recall, you would just edit the shortcut you use to run QT by appending the salvagewallet option. Something like: \DarkCoin-Qt.exe -salvagewallet

This is correct. Make a shortcut and edit the target to have -salvagewallet at the end.

@HiddenDark
Also make sure to delete everything but wallet.dat and re download before trying. That method has worked for others in the past.

Thanks guys!

All my DRK back with 21 anonymized.

Guys, why has the price gone so low?

Two reasons.

1. The issues we've had with this release (most seem to be fixed now).
2. Bitcoin down and that's being mirrored in most cryptos.

This is a total clusterfuck and so far I get blank stares or told I'm lying.

It just keeps NOT doing 8 rounds, doing 1 instead, then starting over and charing me fees again... Eventually, the wallet will be empty from fees.
I had the exact same issue I kept getting hit with denominate fees. Upon installing .31 it stopped.
I'm using .31

I think it's because everyone who is having no problems has less than 900DRK in their wallet. Mine is broken up and denomed only 900 at a time, and it never does the 8 like it's set to do. It does 1. Then starts all over again.... more fees, 1 round realizes that's not 8, starts over, more fees... Jsut keeps going in circles deducting fees as it goes...

I have 870 in my wallet and all it will do it 3.00000003 coins and nothing more..

um, how did this happen?  Huh  Cheesy
after opening up .31 stable wallet for the first time, I notice that somehow I got paid three times for mining? I'm not a miner, there's no way this wallet mined any coins....

Do you own a MasterNode - because they look like MN payments
and if not - What are TX id's?
this wallet is not used for a masternode and doesn't have 1,000 coins.
since I'm sort of a noob, I hesitate to put info like transaction ids on here for people to look at...
Is this yours  ? XhsXZYxpuKGYC7pRZRkusdbTSJ7DWZek7z
How did you make your cold wallet ?
dumpprivkey ?
validateaddress is the command to check if the address is in your wallet .
that's the address that two of the payments were sent from, yes. how did you know?
yea, is there anything wrong with using dumpprivkey?
edit: I just got another 0.5 DRK mining payment! haha this is awesome! my wallet's balance is 0.0 DRK and 0.5 DRK immature. where are these payments coming from?
Haha, the network thinks your wallet is a masternode. A very lucky one too.
well that's good news for me I guess, but bad news for Darkcoin if the mining network can be exploited....
I'll happily take some free coins until they fix it though!!
Xvw9pkaz4h54L8m6w6ZmpuFWWuX2m2aaQG
XseDD7DrLzQGpWLJS1BDcVPrFAkH1ej22N
Is this yours ?
no  edit: yes
If XhsXZYxpuKGYC7pRZRkusdbTSJ7DWZek7z is yours, the address is linked to XseDD7DrLzQGpWLJS1BDcVPrFAkH1ej22N .
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?474721.htm
XseDD7DrLzQGpWLJS1BDcVPrFAkH1ej22N is a masternode.
So basically what is happening is that all of his MN payments are going to a Personal Wallet instead of his MN wallet?
damn it! yea, that address is one of my MNs, so I'm not getting extra coins for free.  Sad
but this wallet (with 0 balance) never imported that MN's key. did something weird happen when I tried using darksend yesterday after having sent coins to this wallet from the MN wallet?
what if I send somebody else coins and then they use darksend, will there be a danger of all my masternode payments going straight to them??
Quote from: Mangled Blue
If that is the case then he has not only admitted to dumping DRK as soon as he get's it.
But he comes in here to try to make it look like DRK is broken.
More fucking BULLSHIT from the FUCKING peanut gallery - nice try kid.
I sold the 3 DRK as soon as I got them, yes. you have a problem with that?  Grin
if a masternode payment gets sent to a wallet with 0 balance, there's something weird going on. if DRK is "broken" you're god damn right I'm going to tell people, not keep it a secret. I absolutely want Darkcoin to succeed, I want it to be flawless and robust. peanut gallery bullshit? wtf??
You came in here acting like you were getting something for free - Where the hell did these come....... from before even looking.
Thank god have have El Presidente around to quickly tack this kind of thing down.
Speaking up YES - everybody should speak-up when they find something.
Maybe next time you should not act like it's broke, especially when you caused it.

DRK is broke because my wallet with 0 balance is getting MN payments. at first I thought they were someone else's payments, but now I realize they're my own payments from a different wallet. but nevertheless, payments are going to a wallet with 0 DRK. therefore I will continue to "act like it's broke".

"you caused it"?? no, I didn't cause it. I noticed it and reported it.

your negative reaction to my post is misguided. all I did was let you know that mining payments are going to my wallet, which amused me. obviously it's something that needs to be fixed.

DRK is broke?  No it's working fine.  Ask around.  Nobody's having any issues.  denominate is not charging 0.0125 a round.  You're not actually getting masternode payments to that wallet.  Everything is perfect.  Just look the other way, ignore it and smell the flowers.

Still not working properly for me..

Just thought I would mention something. RC is release candidate, it is the new advanced experimental features. This is meant for technically inclined users who can understand it and use to help resolve further issues. Do not use it if you don't understand the risks, and don't complain if it's too complicated and you can't ask for help from advanced users or can't understand their explanations. Rather wait for stable client.

Also, coin control is advanced feature, but useful. If I understand correctly, it is used to select received coins e.g. you can select the 1000 you sent to yourself for masternode or you can select the 1.00 you received from masternode payment separately. You tick the specific received coins and you can further expand groups e.g. all masternode payments or -> individual.
