I see this same exact sceniaro with XMR, XC, Cloak, CINNI and VRC. once whales complete acumulation phase. It will go back up. I was pretty sure it was gonna go over its previous high, once uptrend starts. But now not sure how high it would go. I am sure 0.018 will be reached. Until yesterday, i was shooting for 0.03 and above, but not sure now.

Liquidity is tight, look at the volume in may, this volume is a tiny fraction, and most likely from a few players. There is just no money in the market at the moment. The masternodes arent being sold.

Most people are holding and waiting for an uptrend, with no new bitcoin some guy with only 15 grand can completely control the market.

rc4 seems a success, yes it is till closed source but it seems to work.

People went crazy when rc3 was released and now we have a real working anon solution what cant even be compared to rc3 and instead of gaining some value its falling more and more. I really dont get it .. bitshares still doing good did I invest in the wrong anoncoin..? I must say I am/was really convinced about drk so I took a large amount of my btc in the last weeks to buy drk but I'm questioning myself now if it was a big mistake. And still when I think about it, it should be gaining value, all of the improvements that have been made lately and all the things you can do with these masternodes. Its a brand new concept that seems to work with probably endless possibilities and yet price is only falling ??

Can someone enlighten me ? I really don't get it. Or is everybody in the dark on this one ....?

absolutely not sir,  ignore McHammer is on my ignore list so please dont quote him.   you have very valid questions and its not a simple one line answer.  there  have been many things at play here and their nor all obvious.   there has been some serious market manipulation with darkcoin.   Dark has been easy pickens for this kind of manipulation because it has lots of liquidity.  there are of course other things at play everything from panic when rc4 wasnt picture perfect to is some small part less then i ideal official communication plus look around us... hell ltc is at $4.60 and btc under $500. i let our senior  more members add to this.

The article was interesting thank you, but didn't particularly address my question. The hole market is in a down trend indeed especially the altmarket. But what I don't understand is why drk has last more % then ltc btsx and many more while rc4 was being launched. Everything seems to work I read a lot of positive things in this tread, people say that it works, so how can we lose the most of our value of all altcoins with a high marketcap?

I think Darkcoin is down because Darksend+ works if you wanted to manipulate to acquire more this was your last chance while there is still some level of uncertainty  Kristovs review will come out, Evan has important announcements and soon all doubt surrounding RC4 will dissapear. Also people that complete their 1000 DRK at these prices will set up nodes. Next week shall be interesting. I hold a large amount and I dont sell to buy cheaper Ill rather support the coin volunteering and buy when I can, so far this strategy works great for me.
