I'd love to get my hands on v2 of the controller software. After two weeks of use, I have yet to wake up to functioning miners.
Use a Raspberry Pi as a controller and you don't have any problems, anymore.

I've looked through this post, but I'm a bit confused... I'm trying to figure out what everything is and how much they cost and what is shipping/when.
What I've gathered, there are currently 4 units? LA5U, LA3M, LA6M and LA1THS?
The LA3M runs around 3-4 MH/s and the LA6M is actually just two sets of the LA3M.
What is the LA5U? How much does it cost, and how fast does it hash (Scrypt)?
What is the LA1THS? How much does it cost, and how fast does it hash (Scrypt)?
A quick informative reply would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to place an order, but I'm still not sure about the best way to do that. I've seen multiple people suggest PMing the OP (asiaBTC) and it looks like they are working on a website/store, if I don't want to wait for customs, is Zoomhash reliable and are they priced similarly to ordering myself?
Thanks!
LA3M is a package of 10 gridseed 5 chip usb devices each chip is rated to run at 70Kh/s scrypt so the devices are rated for 350Kh/s each. The package includes everything required to run the units including a controller and power supply. The LA6M is two LA3Ms. Speeds have been reported between 2.6Mh/s and 3.8Mh/s for the LA3M. The LA1TH/s does not mine scrypt it mines SHA256 at 1Th/s The LA5U Should be the new 200 Chip 15Mh/s rated rack mountable gridseed device. Little more information has been released. Price is $11,000 USD ATM. There are no current scam accusations against zoomhash that I have seen and there are customers who have received devices from them. I have ordered quite a few Gridseed so far from Zoomhash and have received them. I just put in another order for 30 that should be here Wednesday.

Ok, Finally received the LA3M today (march 11) Ordered and paid in BTC Feb 12.
Releif to have received it, but IIRC I was supposed to receive it arround Feb 21st.
In the delay between expected delivery and delivery, (20 days) AUR mining diff when from 186 to 3500 !
Kinda disapointing..
But I'm happy to have this nice 3 Mh/s scrypt miner..
I'll unpacked and setup right now !

Jack
We ordered a single gridseed from you 14/02/2014 and paid in bitcoin. You never replied to confirm receipt of payment. We had to email and pm you again on feb 21st, to which you confirmed receipt of payment and said the 18th feb batch would be shipped out on the 24th feb.
By 11/03/2014 we were fed up with not having received our delivery. We expressed our concern and asked for our DHL tracking details. To which you replied:
hi, we got your payment track email. wTe will follow it to arrange shipment. don't reply it and send email for technical, priceing. thanks. Lightningasic team.
So that's absolutely useless. You tell us you will arrange shipment, which was supposed to be sent out more then two weeks prior! And then you complain about us attaching our email thread history. Do you know how emails work jack??
We then asked for our bitcoins to be refunded as it is well past the two week window you promised delivery within
Angela responds to this asking for our shipping details so you can ship the product.... We have already sent this multiple times.
We reply saying yet again that we want our bitcoins refunded.
Angela replies by saying their staff lost our order and asks whether we want a refund.
We reply saying yes we would like out bitcoin refunded.
Then Jack replies with some nonsense about checking out order. Angela also replied shortly after saying our postcode is wrong and DHL can't pick up the package. Our postcode is not the problem here.
We then reply saying (for the fourth time) that we want a refund. No reply since.
I gave you 5 chances before bringing it in here and you've failed every time.
Jack, refund our bitcoins NOW!

I am looking for a way to run as much miners possible on one controller. A Rasperry PI has 512 MB is it possible to run eg 100 miners on one Raspberry? What will be the best way to run as much miners possible on one controller?
The limitation on Rasp Pi is the hub. Can't go more than two deep, and hubs with more than 7 ports are already 2 deep. So, if you daisy chain your own set of 7 port hubs, you can get 49 per USB port, or 98 total on one Rasp Pi. No idea if it can handle them all.

I am really trying to collect more info, but I am kind of lost between many threads and what seems to me a lack of information.
Q1- are minereu.com legit ? they sell these miners for EU, it is cool I don't want to deal with customs and fees. Q2- is the controller needed ? if not, when I plug all miners to a PC can I use cgminer (Linux or windows doesn't matter to me) Q3- are these miners stable ? I see many users reporting stability issues. Q4- does the dual mining mode really work ? if yes, how stable is it ? Q5- can I get some feedback about overall experience with these miners, heat, stability, power consumption..
based on the above questions, if users who already tried these miners and can report a positive feedback I would be interested in buying from 100-1000 depending on the price, and where do you think is the best place here in EU to get them (competitive price for a bulk order and fast delivery)
I will be thankful if some of you take time and please forgive ma ignorance, I stopped mining a long time ago and I feel kind of lost here...

Angela just sent through our tracking number, looks like it should arrive today. Interesting delay tactics as DHL shows it shipped a few days ago. I would have been happy if they had just told me upfront they lost the order and provided this tracking number. Looks like a similar experience shared by a lot of people, very bad organization but you do get your stuff eventually if you complain enough.
