NEM is a scam! nothing new except for the stupid discussion of stakeholder!
most members of the team of NEM(jaguar0625, bloodyrookie, thies1965, borzalom, gimre makoto and minusbalancer), except UP, are inactive! it seems that UP hopes to fund more money taking advantage of the exiting strong community(ie, there is a waiting list).
anyway, UP doesnot deserve our trust!

One idea that was passed around earlier was to start a NEM cooperative village in a remote location, like Bhutan. If we can allow people who can't use technology to be able to use NEM, that would be great. For example, when the iPad came out, one writer in Africa said he gave it to a person who never used a computer before and couldn't read or write, but the person was able to use the iPad because of the intuitive interface. It'd be great to do a similar thing with a NEM app.
Some kind of project like this would be very cool. I think it is seriously worth considering. Doge became famous for sponsoring events, NEM could one up that by helping a whole poor community. The way I see it though, it would have to be chosen carefully. I personally don't want to buy an ipad per every person in a village just so they can use NEM and I doubt we could do it even with mass numbers of original stakeholders. So what we need is a poor village where everybody already has an ipad. Hahahaha. Well.... of course that scenario is hard to find. But somewhere actually something like this might have already happened. There might be a community in need that just might have technology. Maybe some poor place where they just got very cheap smart phones. There should be lots of places in Asia, Latin America, or Africa where a technologically emerging culture is developing but still doesn't have an emerging digital financial system to be paired with. If we can find a place like that in Bhutan or anywhere else, I would love to support it. |

+1 Posts like this just go to show how messed up the crypto community already is. Sorry but that's really how it looks to me. With all the clones and forkes popping up that are not much more than copy, paste, edit a bit and publish peole just don't realize anymore how much work it is to write something FROM SCRATCH. If your not pleased with they way things are going you can get a refund soon and get back to your clones that are finished in a week or two. That's where the real innovation happens anyway. What's more innovative than changing the number of coins, block times, and difficulty retarget times right ? Have a nice day though  |
