This bodes very well for NEM. As the Community Coin thread shows, stakeholders get unbelievably enthusiastic when they get coins through a more-or-less fair process. I suggest you browse through that thread and see if you can pick up some rally points for the Big Launch Day.

Oh...an 'umble request to the devs: Could you shoot an Email to Graviton at Dgex and discuss how to make NEM straightforward for him to list? Graviton's listed NAS, and I'm sure he'd be pleased to list NEM. Myself I would love to pimp NEM through my Dgex siglink once launch day arrives!

Yeah...and there's another reason that erupted after my first post. The dev bobbled by losing somewhere in the range of 180 million COMM because one of his hard drives got fried. At first, the community took it in stride, but later in the morning a trollstorm erupted. Word to the wise.

I think it is a waste of time to have pages and pages of discussion on voting system that is going nowhere. Time changes and imo NEM community atmosphere would be different from Nxt's. We will see how it goes but Nxt thread picks up the steam months after the coin is distributed. So in this timeline, NEM thread is already much bigger than Nxt thread if comparing them where the development is at the same level.

We can contain it by;

1- Make a new thread for complaints.
2- The developers should post here more often. About the Alpha etc.

Then, we can redirect the sockpuppets to the complaint thread.
If that doesn't work, the negative comments should be burried under the great development updates of NEM which the developers are posting. Let's talk and discuss about it here for a while until the storm has vanished.

If we don't do this, there will be much negativity around here.
