I feel something huge is coming towards us! Good huge or bad huge? It feels like a min. 40 000 000 $ market. Btw.: It would be very interesting to know current marketcap through our investments. If everyone is getting involved, 40 million cap is no problem. If everyone chooses to sell half of their holding upon launch, then it will take a while to get there. In the long term, it is all about what kind of technological products NEM can bring to the world and what kind of user adoption NEM community can drive forward. We have some cool projects post V1 blockchain, I hope every stakeholder can stay with the development team until then. The launch is not the end, but the beginning.

Ex-dev? I think you are wrong. J.L is the leading light for Nxt. I can't say enough good things about him (as well as Cfb and some other developers) and they are the main reason I still hold on to a chunk of Nxt. same here! I just thought J.L. leaved NXT. No, Jean Luc is still the main nxt developer. If I am not mistaken, he is original stakeholder, or very early adapter, at least.

If it means that two stakes were counted, maybe it is not accidental and may I ask you to give one to my friend shaktigami, she's in the waiting list:
The problem is that no one knows that you and shaktigami are not the same person. Actually he is the first person here, that sound honest. This is the problem with Nem's distribution scheme. Get a fuckin life you forum sewege dweller. All i see you is posting memes and talking shit about every every currency that isn't NXT. You have money go use it instead of sitting on your ass and posting bs on this forum. No one cares what you think, sorry to break it to you. http://seemslegit.com/_images/3f203b9d55b430ffa396a3b35069f489/41%20-%20gtfo%20kindly-leave%20picard%20star-trek%20theres-the-door.jpgYou just don't like what I have to say because it's the truth. No, it's even worse (for you), we don't give a shit what you are yelling.

This thread is very big/ Is this the biggest thread/discussion so far this year? Including the fundraising? In other words is this the most discussed coin on Bitcointalk?

I can´t believe how far we´ve come with our NEM. I know, nothing has been released yet but i think a strong community together with a, already planned, PR-"storm" can make NEM huge.

bigger font Its so awesome to see this project evolve.
Just a quick shout out for everybody on the stakeholders list to get a strong password for your BTT account!
What is strong? Are 15 random alpha-num characters enough? How many characters do you recommend? Mine is 65 ;DI think in some nxt tutorial they reccommend 50+

You'd have to brute BTT over the internet which would take forever with the 45 sec limit. However if BTT get's hacked and they are bruting locally then the 50+ will help you but I hope that people would be informed and required to reset their pwd rather quickly.

If someone has full access to BTT server, they can probably access the messages, password length wouldn't do anything, as I doubt the text on the server is encrypted by user's password. And that "50+ char" password things is total nonsense. People just make up these numbers out of thin air. elliptic curve cryptography (used by bitcoin and nxt and all other cryptos) can be cracked in 128-bits operations -- that is equal to about 22 char random password.

WHAT? Pliiz use consistent vocabulary, not char, bit, word ... oh, you edited the post What means "password length wouldn't do anything, as...the text...is encrypted by...password" ? u r saying 50 chars long password is not safe. How do you validate that? The hacker must still try all the possible passwords with length 8, 9, 10, 11, ......... 50, 51, .... How long does it take to try those for ONE account ?

For me, I think it will be great if there are two passwords. One for foraging ... and the other one to access the money in the account.

The distribution message could be encrypted by UF. This way even if the server would be hacked confidential messages would still be encrypted. But getting 3000+ people to post their pgp signature sounds like a hell of alot of work.

No, what I said was 50+char is overkill. Your used bitcoin address (and NEM that uses ECDSA cryptography) is only 128 bits strong. A random 22 char password is stronger than that.

There would be the possibility to hire this banner on the top, when the time comes ------> http://altcoinspekulant.wordpress.com/It's one of the biggest german blogs writing about altcoins and would be a great advertisement for just 0.1 BTC/10 days Also he would hide his lettering in the jpg. and write an article about NEM for another 0.1 BTC. May we could even bargain, so it would be definitely worth it! I'm German and would love to arrange this, if the community agrees. Coiner@web.deWe should also make "UtopianFuture has a posse" stickers and put them around. From www.altcoinspekulant.de"Disclaimer – Hinweis auf Interessenskonflikt: Der Autor hat selbst NEM gezeichnet" means: The autor is stakeholder. And you really want to give him 0.2+ BTC for advertisement?

Hello, Utopianfuture! I don't get it, why I am not in the stakeholder list? I am on the waiting list since march 8! And you're not answering my PM.
No one on the waiting list is going to be in any stakeholder's list at the moment. The waiting list is for a shot of being able to get a stake from any open slots created by refunded stakes. Sock puppet stakes. It's not a guarantee, since there are hundreds of people on the waiting list, and the goal is to pick those who can contribute to Nem the most. And about Utopianfuture, he doesn't answer stake related question over PM, he rather it be done in public, like on this thread or the complaint thread. I guess he could have PM you to tell you to post your question here. I don't know, just that everything is supposed to be public and open.

I have 2 news for u - a good and a bad one. I was googling for Nxt and...
Good - I found references to NEM among the links. Bad - They say that NEM is based on Nxt codebase.
If u have marketing team u should spread the word that NEM is not based on Nxt code, or u'll have a lot of PR problems in the future...
