he provided all the proof you need, but thats up to him... i cant see any harm in it
I agree that there is no harm in produce some pics" without any meaningful information. Wishful thinking certainly do not kill anyone, but also do not substantiate any claim. The proof needed is an ID transaction, so anyone can verify the payment was made.

Just because no one previously had a 20nm fab facility, does not mean that one has been built or is being built now. Of course if one was being built it would certainly be kept secret, until the announcement.
If there is a secret 20nm fab, it sure as hell isn't CMS's.

@Rebecca, what wafer size are you guys using for the production of your 20 nm chips? 8 inch? 12 inch? 18 inch?

Of course if one was being built it would certainly be kept secret, until the announcement. Oh, ffs! One does not just casually put together a 20nm fab, secretly or otherwise. It's a multi-year project with Very Large Equipment orders and never goes unnoticed within the semiconductor industry. Ever. For that matter, creating a 20nm fab for in-house use by an ASIC Bitcoin mining hardware company would be unprecedented. And by "unprecedented", I mean "It's not going to fucking happen". Seriously, use just one tiny piece of the brain you were born with and think about what you're saying. Because from here, you sound like a blithering fucking idiot. /out

Btw who made the connection between CTS and CMS? Was it Rebecca or someone here?
Might have been me. See post #36. I found them by googling their address - wanted to see if Crypto Tech Systems turned up. Found CMS and then searched for them in LinkedIn and found one of their Directors.

Read their claims carefully. 5) As we have stated, we have been developing the ASICs in house for the past year. Our 20nm microprocessors are built here in the UK. We do not use an external foundry.
You really believe they have a secret 20nm foundry?

You really believe they have a secret 20nm foundry? i agree with you dammit! ...were trying to verify...get with the program please. He nor I said we believed that, although Maui did say something similar, that it was possible, I don't think there is one either .. I'm freaking out over here trying to validate the biggest purchase of my life, and most are not exactly helping anyone... although it does make sense to keep high tech developments like this secret, its been done like this for ages....oh well, its all profits anyway hopefully monday is better

I'm freaking out over here trying to validate the biggest purchase of my life, and most are not exactly helping anyone Wow phoenix, I actually thought you were smarter than this. First, you knew it was a scam Yeah, Cts miner looks like a BFL job all over again.... and no real credentials at all... just smoke, no links to the fabulous company's websites they speak of.... All claims, and zero proof. No linkdn, no profiles, references, or past projects to even check up on when they claim they've been doing this since the stone age....(1975)wow, before the web existed.....amazing. Did microprocessors even exist then? ...and they look 20ish... and the info on the "about us" page literally changed since last night from starting this in may 2012 to may 2013.... They claim to have made chips for.. Aircraft Testing, Remote Switchgear Operation, Stock Control, Instrumentation, Oil and Petrochemical Exploration, Marine Science and Environmental Control.... and not a single affiliate listed, not a single customer listed in a way we can check the background. Total Bullshit. Obvious scammers, and bad liars. Michael Richardson supposedly went to Cambridge... we could check that, that's it. Oh, and a working prototype on Jan 22nd, but three months to deliver from there? Must be an fpga, in which case, they lied again.. oh... "some changes to the internals have had to be made to the CirrusMine product which is why unfortunately we have been unable to supply you with detailed internal shots" Yeah, good excuse. Total fishiness throughout the site. How could they possibly afford to almost fully develop a 5Th/s 20nm machine with no venture capitol, and not have a single picture?
KNC may have had terrible stick drawings, but had mass credentials to back up their claims, and a traceable history, which is why I chose KNC early on. No credentials & no history to check = no $ from Ewik
Then you talk shit about me about your research and how cool these guys are What on earth did you find that makes you think they are real, and shipping a 20nm product in two months?
Not only that, but they claim they are fabbing the 20nm chips in the UK! Phoenix really did his research. DUH... CMS, parent company of CTS, has their own in-house manufacturing facility.. yes, for asics. They've made more asics than Carter's had liver pills. So, who didn't do their homework again? After I spent all day on it... lol You also said that they have credentials and you wouldn't purchase / told your brother not to Woooo hooo yourself.... you are a real piece of work. You did absolutely no research, that much is obvious
You don't seem to understand. They claim they are fabricating 20nm chips. Do you even know what that is? I give up. Please buy up all their devices so there are none left for the rest of us. Please do. In case YOU don't know...it's a microprocessor! One they spent 8 months developing...Essex/Chelmsford Road Industrial Estate is hardly in the middle of nowhere btw. I guess I'll have to say a 4th time...I never said I was buying any, and never recommended them either... and if I did... I wouldn't let you know about it. I actually advised my brother against it. Now you realize how friggin stupid it was to just ship of $40k to some unknown assholes in a shed. By the way, when you posted those things about how they have credentials, and that you and your brother checked them out and think they are legit, that kind of vouch may have caused other idiots to send money to these scammers as well. You know better. You have seen it happen, and yet you both fell for it and promoted them. Lame.

People are always on my case for being negative with these scam companies, but when you are positive without absolute proof, others may fall victim to the scam on your word.

did I say I was positive anywhere? I missed it... Why would I bother with all this if I was positive? I'd be watching star trek right now! Which I might do anyway, just to take a break...

I like it better before when bitcointalk had the restrictions that prevented 'newbies' from posting anywhere they like. if these restrictions were still in place this scam may never have gotten this far.
Phoenix is a respected member here and has been for a while. he's help many when it came to KNC hardware and I sure he (or his brother) wouldn't scam anyone. I'm sure even KNC would vouch for Phoenix as well.
