I voutch for Phoenix .........he is truthful , well meaning, smart , and able to make  mistakes just like all of us ......................again I know of at least 3 others who will voutch for him ...........so please double check with the group before bad mouthing some one who has respect here ............it only makes us more likely not to help you when you need it  

And to blindly believe a man word based on his history isnt exacly smart either. There are plenty of example of so called "trustworthy", "respectable" and "honest" that as gone rogue.

Based on history is "Blind belief?"  ... whatever...  I guess if you went to ebay and saw a 5 star seller rating with a hundred customers that would mean nothing too? I've been Pete's research partner on a scientific project for a few years now...years; and I consider Pete one of my best friends, we talk like at least three or four times a week for hours at a time now for about 4 years I think. Maybe longer, but I don't expect you to know any of that, nor do I really want to discuss defending my own honor really, It kinda takes energy away from chasing the real criminals here...  the same folks that did the butterfly vopycat site scam. ug

If the recent trades were fishy I would raise concerns indeed. The fact that you two are close friends just make it more understandable that he would instantly back you up. The need to "defend your honor" is an natural consequence of your action. Note that I don't think post such as "trololol hes a scammer" is of any use, but for those that provide some sort of evidence that point any direction is of use, and should not be instantly diminished just because they point in a direction some may not like.

Allthought there were several indication of this beeing a scam such as the none-traceable so claimed CTS staff at social networks, in-house production at small plant, the connection between CTS webpage and butterflyiabs, not showing working prototype yet the delivery was suppost to be in early april. You and your brother decided to go ahead and spend a bunch of bitcoin before even calling CMS and inquire information about CTS. You display high intelligence, brag about your brothers work and ability, yet both of you acted against logic and what worse, defended them from any evidence which indicated that it was most likely a scam.

If you cant see why this doesn't raise concern, any further post from my side won't help.

I recognized the guy with the blue background from a previous scam.
Believe this was used at terrahash.com, not 100% sure.

So I guess the blue pics are stock but are the other 2 also stock ?

they did more then the above to look into these guys...and they are the ones who after they found out it was a scam helped to shut down the host site in LA and also they (and I) we're involved in finding out the connection to www.butterflyiabs.com....

my question is you...you seem higly offended that they messed up...(obvious hero worship that went wrong) .hate to be around you much my standards get slippery...i may drop something or trip over the cat....

Yeah it would prove it.  No scammer, with the possibility that the forum pool is going to find out the username of the criminal (bitcoins paid to the scam have been traced the this forum's hardware buying pool, if you can believe it), would post their picture under that username, thus proving they are the criminal.  All the FBI would have to do is trace the I.P. address of that member, then go find the face that used it.

On the other hand, no innocent, good guy, as Phoenix is supposed to be (and I take the forum members at their words) would mind posting his pic with today's paper if really wanted to remain a trusted forum member, given the very unusual and unfortunate circumstances anyway.  Especially Phoenix, who claims to already have his pic up as his Avatar.

I know I'd post my pic in a second if I were in the horrible circumstances they claim to be in.

And obviously, if they are on the up-and-up, I really feel for them and might even send them a 6 pack.

But one thing is clear, a forum member (active or not, who knows?), someone in the buying pool, is in on this scam.

Er- once again, for the record... I never, ever ever ever recommended this company to anyone, and made that clear all along. I only shared our findings and actions as we went along. It would have been much easier not to post in here at all, and I myself thought scam at first, so why don't you wankers chip in with investigating ant tracking these bastards?...... it would be helping out, instead of slowing progress by robbing time from the issue. The more time that passes, the more time they have to cover their tracks.

btw... if anyone knows the member "sushi", could you please PM him and fill him in on the situation, he may have their shipping address

Searing, I believe it was Augusto Croppo at page 12 wich posted indication of the releationship between cts and butterflyiabs. You claim that im highly offended, but i'd claim I'm beeing netrual while you are defensive. Have I posted any claims that anyone is a scammer? No, I have posted my thought on how evidence should be treated equal.

And Phoenix, my intention isn't to slow down any investigation, its quite the opposite. There is no need to defensivly reply to my post as I'm not posting any evidence.
