API needed!

I'm a provider of mining rigs (leaser) and I have lot's of them. Therefore I wan't to control them programmatically, via API. For now the most desired request would be the ability to easily mark one rig as disabled/enabled and to get the current status of a particular rig [leased/available/disabled].

So I would like to have a simple API command that I would call, for example, with my API ID, my rig ID and "action".

Current need actions are:
- enable/disable rig
- get the status of a rig [leased/available/disabled]

With this kind of API I could run my own "lease checker script" and I would have instant access of the status for all of my rigs and the ability to programmatically disable/enable my rig. This kind of functionality is especially useful if I offer my rigs at multiple rent&hire portals/services (leaserig.net, betarigs.com, etc). Because if one has many rigs (dozens of them) it is more likely to be able to get them all rented if one has them listed on more then one rent&hire portals/services.

If I would have this kind of API then I could disable a particular rig on other rent&hire portals/services as soon as I detect that it has been rented by someone on a particular rent&hire portal.

mux, could you add this?

Rented a few rigs yesterday but was not able to mine enough to cover the cost of the rent. What should I be mining to ensure that I can actually break even, or even make a profit?

If I would know, why would I tell you?
I would just keep making that free money myself.

The way to make money is to take a risk on a newer or lesser value coin. If it goes up, you make a killing.

Or take a gamble on one of Middlecoin's 0.03BTC/mh days and hope to not get a 0.01BTC/mh day like yesterday Smiley

This is a joke. Renting price is higher what you can actually earn per day. Scammers!!!

Don't worry, looks like the race to the bottom is on. Best day on Middlecoin has been about 0.013BTC/Mh/Day. We're currently at 0.0155 cheapest.

Hmmm...not really...  Cheesy

Mux,

Just had a renter raise a valid point... He rented for 2 days, however, it only shows up as "1 day". I know it's actually 1 day 23 hour 59 min, however, if you displayed both day and hours that would help clear up any confusion :]

The ticket system doesn't give you a number so you can look it up later nor have I gotten any e-mails.  I sent over 200mBTC with no problem but in the past day I've had 9mBTC get stuck up, first one was incorrect amount sent which I'm patient about but this latest one didn't have any problems but still says waiting for funds

@JBardey, are you sure you're talking about the 'number of BTC per 1 MH per day' or are you displaying your total payout? The BTC/MH/day number makes it easy to compare your 'profits'/income with others/other pools/other coins because it doesn't factor in your total hashrate.

Suppose you've received 0.1 BTC from Middlecoin at a given day and you have been hashing for 24 hours at 4 MH/s than you have made 0.1/4=0.025 BTC/MH/day.

BTC/MHs/Day as I stated. E.g. 2014/01/30 0.04258367 payout / 4Mh/s = ~0.0105 (0.0106 with more decimal places).

Seems significantly lower than what you posted is all, curious as to where I'm going wrong. We're all on the same pool on the same days.

I don't think that includes unexchanged. I've been on the pool longer and may have more built up, some of which is cashed in each day?

Not sure..

Don't want to further derail this from Betarigs talk, however, different Middlecoin servers do better than other ones... Eventually they will all be equal, however, at least for now certain ones do better than others (usually EU and USEast are better than default and Asia)

I noticed that I'm able to see only the latest message from the customer.

I think it would be useful to see at least 5-10 last messages if not all of them without checking email notifications.

i don't think the concept of middlecoin can be compared here, because in middlecoin you are getting random payments per day because some of your mined coins were exchanged on the same day and some are not, in betarigs you are the one deciding on how much you want to lease your rig so you are getting fixed amount.
