Bounty can be considered as an investment in case if you are sure in the amount of token reward and plan to hold them for particular term. Otherwise bounty is just a payment for a simple work.
bounty different from investment. in bounty campaign everyone can benefit by the way they follow the campaign and do not need capital to be able to follow it to be able to get the payment at the end of the campaign
It may be different from investing in an ICO but what the OP trying to say is that when participating in a bounty campaign, we have to allocate time which is irreplaceable. You can have spend that time with your loved ones instead of doing bounties. That is why i agree with the OP's opinion that bounty is also an investment.

Yes it is the definition of bounty and i think you just googled it. OP is trying to get your opinion on "Why is bounty not an investment?". He is not asking for the definition of bounty.

I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

im actually agreed with you mate, but i think bounty hunters much advantage than a people who investing directly to the market or any company investment scheme. because on everyday task about bounty campaigns they read a lot of updates from the team and also making post or replies those interesting topics and exchanging thoughts.

In fact, investing your precious time in work for projects is an Invaluable investment, I hope that projects understand this and will pay their assistants and will not cut payments.

Agree bounty hunter are also an investors because they are spending time & money as well. Bounty campaign are very tiresome and risky especially if projects are not successful. Bounties are helping in promoting projects. The only difference is that bounties do not spen too much and do not earned that much.

You can still think of it as an investment, not your money, but your time.
However, since it is an investment, people will choose when to sell the token.

For me Bounty token acquired from bounty campaign was considered as an investment, because we consume effort and time and also we pay money for electricity and internet data. We work hard to promote an ICO so bounty token we get from bounty campaign is not free money and i considered it as one of my investment.

Yes I agree with this statement, a bounty hunter can be said to invest his time of course to earn money, and money from the bounty can be used for investment

Yes but it solely depends on how each person manages their investment as many bounty hunters just sell their tokens once they get it at an all time unreasonable price but those who invested during the ICO, most of them keep it for a long term and to me, that is what an investment is all about. The time duration and the waiting.
