I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

I agree with you, the bounty is the same investment, because the time that we spend for bounty, we could spend on normal work with hourly pay.

Yes, it depends on the view of every single person. Some people say it's an investment and some say it's not. I think it's in the middle. Because if you invest you have already money and when you do a Bounty you have none. So I think yes, you invest time, but not money.
This time can be seen as an investment.

Whether it's an investment or not definitely depends on each person. If you weren't working on bounties, what would you be doing. If it's playing video games or something that doesn't really reward any financial gain, then the time spent working on bounties would not be considered an investment, as you'd just be giving up your video game playing time.

However, if your bounties do get in the way of other tasks which reward you financially, I would consider it an investment, and then it's up to the individual to figure out which 'time investment' is going to yield the highest return in value.

Looking for a campaign or bounty and put time and effort into it is the biggest investment you will ever have. For me as a former employee who resigns lately from my previous work and chooses cryptos, I put so much effort and time into it to earn a profit. And that is my investment.

On general matter then i do consider it as an investment and as being said we do invest time and effort on here but if we do talk or compare our selves as an investor into a certain project then its not even though we are part on the marketing stuff but we didnt spend any money on investing on that project which it turns out that we make money just like having or similar on having a day stable job.

You have a point. Yeah you're right, money can replace but time can never be replaced so being an investor and bounty campaign is equal though they both different need to do to accomplish but they both an equal value but in other side of me is still the meaning of them is differents.

Off course time and energy is also kind of investment but in the crypto space when we say investment then it is all about the money. The money that we put into crypto currency is what called as investment. Investment into the trading, gambling, lending everything needs only one stuff, Fiat/Money! Thats the real investment.

When you say about the time and energy then it is all about the biological investment or your efforts. I think this is merely a misconnection between the real investment and the biological investment as I said above.  What are your thoughts about this one. Smiley

No they are not investors. You are quiet correct that our time is our best resource, but for some people it is not such expensive asset. Investors are people who invest money in project to gain profit in time.
In that case people who work at their job also are investors because they invest their time to get money. This is incorrect.

Time is money and some people will even argue that time is more valuable than money, so if I can spend my time to fulfill certain tasks to promote a project, I believe I have invested in the project and I should be rewarded as such

Those that invest in ICO with money is said to accounting cost and bounty participants are also spending economic cost in form of time ,energy and other resources to advertise for the project to get funds to be successful. Both is investment because it come with cost

İf a bounty hunter is going for a specified bounty of an ico he or she is really confident about not just anything that gives a bounty, then he is an inventor.
I myself go for an ico I would invest for the bounty. And hold it.
Not try to get all kind of different bounty and sell.

Totally agree with you. Bounty is an investment. After all, bounty hunters spend a lot of time and effort to promote the project in which they participate.
Creation of video, writing articles, promotion in social networks. All this costs a lot of money. Bounty hunters do this for coins in which they believe.
Therefore, I believe that participation in the bounty is also an investment.

You are right at the point, but at first, when anyone says about investment literarily it directly means about money. The effort is also an investment but not as we said it. For example, do you say, The Samsung company has 100k manpower investment? We say, The Samsung has xx Million investment. That's the difference.

I completely agree with you. As you said, someone can invest money, and someone can invest their time. Time is the most precious thing we have, but unfortunately somebody does not understand this

I think that the bounty is more of an investment than a direct monetary investment. Perhaps for someone time and effort these are less significant resources, but for me they play a bigger role than money.

I will agree with you, the only difference we can find is that most of investors that buy during ico with their money tend to hold for better profit or for the project to realize according to the roadmap but for bounty hunter's reward tokens are more like their wages or salaries and most of them sell them as soon as they list on exchanges to cashout the money, this is a general pattern but bounty hunters are also getting mature now and i hope they will learn to hold and never sell under ico price.

For me they both need money but in an opposite changing, i mean investor put their money to a promising project and in a bounty campaign, bounty hunters earn money for supporting promising project too so they both have a same strength and also need a people to do that all.
