Ether or altcoins?

Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.

it would be better if we invested in ethereum, because according to all this I have seen, ethereum tends to be more stable compared to other altcoins, perhaps because of the increasing use of ethereum. and even now I'm thinking I'm going to start buying some ethereum

I think it's better to keep Ethereum now, because altcoins falls very much, even stronger than Ethereum

At the moment all alts are struggling to give a stable outlook so ethereum looks better choice but the only attraction in alts is that during their season gains are seriously high like in the previous alts season the prices sky rocketed that is why people are always attracted towards alts for huge gains but at the moment it looks like it will take time.

I think ethereum is better than other altcoin. Investment in ethereum tends to be safer because the price is more stable. Ethereum is getting stronger with a bigger community so prices are likely to go up and you'll get huge profits.

Both of coins. Remember ethereum has a lot of volatility right now unless altcoin can give you the more preofit but remember ethereum as the second major crypto with a lot of the demand and it can be a good combination if you are using or try to divided your amount and then try to put them all to the ethereum and altcoin.

Diversification is always important in investing. Holding Ether, Bitcoin, and a few other top altcoins is good for long term while more profits may be had with some smaller altcoins and ICOs.  Risk is higher with small altcoins so only invest small amounts in those.

I think this is a same things, because the biggest number of altcoins use for transactions algorithm which based on Ethereum. But as you mean a potential price, may be better hold a some altcoins, but only 5-10 percent from numerical token give a good X in future during the trading.
