Ether or altcoins?

Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.

I personally also prefer to withstand Altcoin because I know altcoin can be good anytime depending on Bitcoin if Bitcoin price decreased altcoin also decreased so from that I think I prefer Alts but Ethereum is also good and can be profitable premises fast because this coin has growth the good one

I think unless you are 100% sure that the project is both viable and run by a totally professional team then alts will always remain a greater risk than Ethereum. I keep some ETH at all times both for the investment opportunities from ICO and for its own potential to increase in value. I also own a fair selection of alt coins so for me it is both not one or the other.

Because the ethereum has used by almost all kinds of altcoin. it looks like very similar to the bitcoin and this time it has been getting another decrease but it's just try to correcting the price of ethereum to be similar as bitcoin price. But altcoin just like EOS and any other coin get dumped a lot. Ether should always become the best choice to store our value.

I think Ethereum is more promising, Ethereum quality is very good so I am sure the future of ETH is very bright, Ethereum quality has been proven than other altcoin so I suggest to choose ETH.

Ethereum is also one of the altcoins so I choose altcoins because I have both ETH and some other altcoins but I know which altcoins are performing well in future. My self long term investment is the good relationship in Crypto platform so right platforms are always good to buy in future journey.

ethereum always follows bitcoin, and i think eth is the main choice, it can be seen from many ico who entrust payment with eth. so I'm sure later eth will rise by itself

I think it's better to keep Ethereum now, because altcoins falls very much, even stronger than Ethereum

I see that many other Altcoins are experiencing an ever-increasing development. so it would be very advantageous to have an existing Altcoin. and I see the level of interest that is on Altcoin continue to increase that keeps Altcoin a lot of supporters.

I rather prefer Etherum because it's movement follow Bitcoin movement. Also it have smart contract and has used by many ICO as their platform. I believe that Etherum will survive and success in the future.

Ethereum does tend to track what is happening with Bitcoin in terms of gains or falls the only difference on any given day is the respective percentage changes. The alt coins are more volatile and often dependent on project milestones or new exchange listings to affect their price. I own both and am happy to keep doing so.

how long will you invest or hold the coin you buy? if only for 2-5 months, altcoin is great for holding. but if you invest for 1-2 years time. best is ethereum. because it has a very good project for the future based on smart contract.

Among other altcoins, ether is the best to hold.  This is because many tokens and coins circulating around are based on ethereum platform which uses ether as an engine to complete transactions.  In that sense, for sure, ether is the most stable altcoin.  The ether concepts are similar to bitcoin concepts but ether has additional features.  This is the reason why many investors trusted ether.  This is also the reason why ether is called as queen of cryptocurrency because it is next to bitcoin most stable cryptocurrency.
