its fine though. soon this coin will be too hard to mine. this mysterious miner will go and mine an other coin. clearly he is not mining to hold because he believes in this coin. once he leaves. we will see those walls crumble. begging to buy karma cheap again. they will start outbidding each other as they will regreat not buying it at 4 , 5 or 6.
i still got my coins. i placed an order for 1 btc at 3 too. waiting for dad 33million. can't wait. imagine selling 33 million at price of mintcoin? 44 satoshis.. earth coin 55 satoshis..
ok, im gonna stop now. i am about to get a bonner : )~
Yep this coin is going places for sure, only holding 1 million here but would love to see it hit 44-55 sat. Shows how cheap it is now 33 million coins for 1 BTC is great looks like you will see 14.5-18.1 BTC back. Just imagine if we hit DOGE prices you 1 BTC will be 66 BTC then. That get you excited enough lol yes.. but shhhhhh.. i want to buy my 1 btc order. dont be giving them some common sense and move the buy order up.

Don't worry. this coins is behaving like previous strong coins. staying stongs buys and sells. its too soon for this to be at $1, way too soon. but you can feel it that 10-15 satoshis is not a far reach. only matter or momentum now.

this is the coin, its cute, it brings it all together. I like!!!! now if you could spell Karma in binary and have that around the coin, it would be off the chain karma = 0110101101100001011100100110110101100001 How's this... awesome! I love it too! Can we use this one?

+1 That's why I loved that cartoony elephant of another guy/gal, who did not even submit his entry to the subreddit thread. That elephant looked many times better and it was actually close to a logo. All these entries are nice and I respect the amount of work jwcplanet put in to them, but they are not logos. Too much details, too much colors (in some, too few in others...), too low contrast, too much various insets/outsets/embeds/shadows/gradients/textures. Good for wallpaper maybe, not for logo or icon.

I'm not marketing expert or anything, but I think we should go for better than that, I knew it looked familiar: http://www.clipartlord.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/elephant2.png

Our votes have very little value compared with surveying and testing our logo designs with the general public (or our target market). Imagine Unilever or Western Union building a new brand and asking only the IT department to choose between 3 logo designs?

I loved that one too ( august25, you should submit yours to the subreddit thread!). It was definitely the most polished and logo-like of them all. The only real complaints that some people had (that I didn't necessarily agree with) could easily be remedied (eyelashes, color, etc.)

IMHO it look like logo for infants. I thought after first look it is some seal.
This version? http://i60.tinypic.com/jab4e8.pnglol, i guess it's all about perspective. I just thought karma could use a more playful appearance since the idea behind the coin is to do good. I didn't think the current logo conveyed that idea, and a generic letter 'K' would probably have felt too corporate and overdone at this point. I actually really like this one, despite the fact that it is a bit too cartoony and feminine (no offense, girls). That and colors should be easily fixable. I like it because it looks really nice, has few enought details to be recognisable in small icon (many other suggestions fails in this case), I like how it breaks out boring circle a bit too. It could be tweaked to be a really nice logo. +1 This logo is awesome.

august25's logo is too inappropriate for a coin. Especially for Karma coin and it screams "low class".

If everyone can come together and figure out what they want collectively, I'll create a new logo based on all the suggestions?

The first one is like the elephant is drinking water and turns blue herself. This is the essence of "karma"

Since when KARMA is for high class only? Other colors, removed eyelashes, more solid looking circle and text. Bam. Logo. Stamp whatever symbolic on elephant's forehead if there's such desire. I can already imagine it attracting attention in exchange coins list. Or on nice web button "Pay with karma". Bigger one in children charity webpage. Would want a fridge magnet or a sticker like that. Some would even want a t-shirt or hoodie. Whatever, it just simply works and that's the beauty of it. Also, there's huge value in the fact that it was an original drawing, so it can go anywhere from that. Now it's a logo, tomorrow a mascot for a "beginners guide to KARM coin".

Dear All,
when considering your vote for the KarmaCoin Logos I would invite you to be mindful of the following:
KarmaCoin is not a company, it is a Currency and Payment system. If you have forgotten what currencies look like.. please do open your wallet and look at the level detail on both the coins and notes. and then ask yourself the these questions... would I be comfortable using a coin with this logo for buying groceries, a car, even a house? would I be comfortable accepting money with this logo as payment for my services? would I pay school fees with it? would i pay hospital bills with it? would I donate this to my local church/temple/charity?
all these questions are important as they will tell you how useful the design is likely to be in every day life.
I completely understand and agree with people's comments that a design must be simple enough so that it is easily recognizable when minimized (ie on tabs and bottom corners of pages etc) and from far away, but at the same time, we do also need full sized elaborate designs, that actually look like money, which can go on cover pages of magazines, websites etc with enough detail to really hold peoples attention..
now with that being said.. I would like to invite you all to make your way over to Reddit and vote on whatever designs you like. After all this is a free economy and every vote counts.
thank you for your participating in the creation of better value for KarmaCoin and its community.
Sincerely here for the long haul,
Alphi. (some random guy that wandered in and thought this coin was a good idea)
